Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is obviously a remaster. Not a remake. So players who are a fan of the Turk series should already know what to expect. Those who truly enjoyed Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion should definitely get a kick out of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered. The remaster strongly implies there’s going to be a an upgrade in the visuals and graphics. at the bare minimum there has to be.
Here’s what was said about Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered, “it now supports gameplay on contemporary devices with impressive 4K resolution at 120FPS. This title complements the esteemed remasters of Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, brought to life by Nightdive Studios, Universal Games, and Digital Platforms, rounding off the trilogy. The remastered version boasts refined gameplay, sharp high-resolution textures, advanced lighting and rendering, and gamepad support.”
Other from this we hear that Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered will also have more features like anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion, bloom, dynamic shadows and motion blur. There’s also updated weapon models, “remastered environment art” and better character models. On top of all that there are new achievements. So players have new things to fight and aim for… if you care about the achievements.
We checked out some Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered gameplay and it’s not really what we expected. We did expect the visuals to be better though. It’s easier said than done but we have seen better jobs. The performance is definitely much better though and that does matter a lot. Our main concern is the problem that almost every remaster game has which is what else do they offer. they don’t have top offer more but it definitely adds far more reason to get the remaster besides just playing it again. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered being available on next gen and modern consoles is. big deal and added accessibility. X35 Earthwalker just always wants there to be some bonuses included.
Overall Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered does look like an alright game. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion wasn’t out favourite Turok. We wanted more Turok evolution. That would be big move. Stray Souls is a survival horror game developed by ‘Jukai Studio‘ and published by ‘Versus Evil‘. Stray Souls is said to come out the 25th of October 2023 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and pc. X35 Earthwalker will give this game a chance. Stray Souls is definitely going to be something that players will recognise. Let’s take a look.
Stray Souls is about a dude named Daniel who inherits a house from his “estranged grandmother”. Of course he happily moves in and meets a girl who clearly has good knowledge about the house. This ain’t your normal house alright. It’s a horror game, of course it isn’t. The thing is, as the night progresses, things get darker and more secrets come to the surface.
Players will need to not only explore the house but also the surrounding area. There’s quite a bit to see. We definitely like the big scenery. Seeing water, rocks, trees and the fact that you’re basically on your own. Now if gamers were paying attention they would be reminded about something. Stray Souls does remind us of silent hill. The indoors, the outdoors and the exploration. Things can be dark and fog is a bit of a thing but not as heavy. Not only that… there’s some threats too.
Now off course a game like Stray Souls definitely needs some threats. There are. Some almost chalky statue looking ones. Even the enemies sort of remind us of silent hill, except these enemies are better. They do however look like a baseball bat would get the job done easily. Now there are some real big threats too. There’s this big beast looking one that and it sure ain’t friendly. Most likely Daniel must hide and run from that thing, instead of battle.
We checked out some Stray Souls gameplay and it’s what we expected sort off. Stray Souls doesn’t keep you defenceless. Daniel can get a firearm. A pistol has been seen. Taking down the humanoid ones. There’s some action here. Things do look standard for sure. Stray Souls doesn’t look impressive graphically. We were hoping for more but it definitely get the job done.
Overall Stray Souls seems like an alright game. The biggest factor is the large monster enemy. The others aren’t intimidating. The house needs to have some scary and creepy stuff. The outdoors are also the better parts in our opinions. The developers ‘Jukai studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this game brings up. Stray Souls may have a giant monster in the forest but it’s a small problem if handled by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is the new story expansion developed by ‘Dambuster studios‘ and published by ‘Deep Silver‘. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is said to be coming out the 2nd of November 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker sees the twist that this expansion is bringing. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is coming in hot. Let’s take a look.
Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ already has out attention due to one major change that it appears to bring. First and foremost players will get a whole new area to explore and battle in… Malibu. There’s a cult there and off course a billionaire is involved. More like running things. It has been described as a psycho horror dreamscape. This is a whole new storyline and it fits into Dead Island 2 timeline as the ending had players character stay behind to do a search for a specific character. So it fits.
Now time for some new stuff. New weapons. There’s the K-rossbow which is long ranged and described as powerful. There’s another called the “Dead Islands”. That’s now you know it’s crazy powerful as it’s named after the game basically. It’s said to “take the weight off their shoulders whilst they smash undead enemies into oblivion”. There’s also a flame thrower basically called a Hog Roaster. So that’s good to see. Flamethrower vs zombies sounds like fun.
There’s more cards now as well. 8 new cards to be exact. We ain’t saying what they do. Learn for yourself. This techno death cult is going to be a problem. Not for the mighty character that X35 Earthwalker created though. Easy work. For the rest of you Dead Island 2 players, this should be a battle. So get ready to see the cult leader hq… Konstantin’s 1960s modern style villa… which sucks.
We checked out Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ gameplay and it’s what we expected. Sadly it’s so far underwhelming for us. More like standard Dead Island 2… which isn’t bad as Dead Island 2 is an excellent game. We had lots of fun. We were just hoping for things to take a more scary turn. We see some attempts though. Things are definitely darker and there’s some Bramble: The mountain king type stuff going on in there… sort off. Watch out for a pig. Trust us.
Overall Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ looks like it’s going to be a good experience for sure. Dead Island 2 players got something new to look forward to with a whole new storyline. How crazy will this cult be? Will there be new or variants of the zombies? We have questions and will wait to see. The developers ‘Dambuster studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will listen up for what this expansion dlc has to offer. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ may have a cult in Malibu but they are just small fry compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Shuyan Saga is a action adventure game developed by ‘Lofty Sky Entertainment’ and published by ‘ESDigital Games‘. Shuyan Saga is said to be coming out on the 22nd of September 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PS4. Shuyan Saga was already out on iOS, Android and pc back in like 2017 or something. X35 Earthwalker like to see what games got and give them a chance. Shuyan Saga trying to wow with the graphics. Let’s take a look.
Shuyan Saga is set in the world of ancient Chinese culture. Shuyan is a princess, of the Chinese imperial family, who wants to be a true kung fu warrior and stop the Guer horde. The Guer horde have made it their goal to destroy the five kingdoms. This is also a personal matter as Shuyan lost everything to the goer invasion. She got to get good and get good real quick. The invasion is only beginning.
We got one question for the wise reader of this G Blog. Who is the real enemy? Hmmmmmm. “Success is not what Shuyan perceived it to be.” This alone should get players thinking concerning the story and the world of Shuyan Saga. The story and adventure revolves around the five kingdoms. Each kingdom was built on the foundations of kung fu. so pay attention to each one’s culture and values. Also take note that the player can make some choices in Shuyan Saga. Your choices just might matter.
The main factor on the table with Shuyan Saga is the martial arts itself. How good is the fighting? The battles have been described as “skill-based”. There’s different fighting styles and each one has their own moves and functions. There are light and heavy attacks, combos of course and special abilities which are said to be powerful. There’s over 300 combat animations and motion capture is involved. X35 Earthwalker is the best at motion capture. Expect unique fights.
We checked out some Shuyan Saga gameplay and it’s not exactly what we expected. It seems like more story book and less gameplay. Yes we are aware it’s a graphical novel but a game must have a good amount of gameplay with more fullness to it and more mobility especially for chinese martial arts.. So that’s the main negative we can see with Shuyan Saga right now. Regardless it’s still an experience. The animations of the combat could look better but there’s clear-ish distinction between the moves. After all X35 Earthwalker himself is a martial artist.
Overall Shuyan Saga looks like a very good game. Lots of work went into this game clearly. From the graphic style and details to the animations and cinematic. This is quite the adventure and the princess, Shuyan herself, has an excellent design. She look good. The story in the chapters and the book style is different fun. Colourful and detailed. The developers ‘Lofty Sky Entertainment’ have done a very good job. Tings should be better since Shuyan Saga is coming to consoles. X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear open for this game when it comes to console. Shuyan Saga may have loads of kung fu but their king fu is too weak for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
AK-xolotl is a top down rougelite shooter developed by ‘2Awesome studio‘ and published by ‘Playstack‘. AK-xolotl is said to be coming out the 14th of September 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker does like Xolotls. AK-xolotl is out here not joking around, except they are joking around. Grab your AK-47. Let’s take a look.
AK-xolotl is a funny game. Literally. AK-xolotl has players control a Xolotl who is cute but turns out is very dangerous. This Xolotl is armed with weapons. Its main is the AK-47. That why we mentioned it earlier. Now the story… well it’s more like you just go on a rampage through the different biomes facing all kinds of foes and dangerous beings. It’s an adventure for sure.
This game is actually funny. AK-xolotl is all about that action. The bosses are crazy. There’s even a hello kitty… oh sorry, we meant hell’o kitty. We are sure you see the reference here. Giant knife wielding Enemy Crabs and even sock snakes There’s many enemies who are natural predators and if you give them the chance, they will destroy you… unless… you destroy them first. You can even go full akuma from street fighter on these foes with the raging demon.
Now during your adventure in AK-xolotl you will come across different baby Xolotls. Find them and help them. Bring them back home with you and nurture and raise them. When they grow up, they become Xolotl characters for you to control and play. Treat it like the binding of Isaac. Different characters, different effects, maybe some abilities. So yeah there’s some variety for sure.
Now of course, AK-xolotl as a rougelite crazy shooter, there’s random generated rooms, random layouts and getting jumped by foes. So make sure to grab the food you find. Feed your xolotl children and hopefully get a bite for yourself. Besides that you are going to need some help. That’s why you can purchase things like at ‘Small Paws Dealer’. There are other friendly beings out there who are willing to help… for a price etc.
So yeah, you should know what to expect by now with AK-xolotl. You can either choose to play with a melee style or ranged shooter. There’s many enemies, many weapons, upgrades are off course available. Don’t forget to cook ‘permanent, stat-improving recipes” for the xolotls. Eat everything you can find. We hear even mjolnir is in the game.
We checked out some Ak-Xolotl gameplay and it’s what we expected. Run, around, keep moving and fight your way through it all. It’s a rougelite for sure. Just straight up fun but additional elements like the whole rescuing and raising babies thing to become fighters. Ak-Xolotl is not playing around.
Overall Ak-Xolotl looks like an excellent game. There’s lots to like here. It’s silly, fun, straight action, references, lots to do and multiple mechanics going on. More things need to be examined. Cute shooter. Sigh. The developers ‘2Awesome studios’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye open for this game. Ak-Xolotl may have cute dangerous creatures but they aren’t on the level high enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Super Bomberman R 2 is an action adventure game developed and published by ‘Konami’. Super Bomberman R 2 is said to be coming out the 13th of September 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker‘s crew truly enjoyed the first game. Super Bomberman R 2 is clearly trying to make a blast… make a boom… explode on to the scene… we have more of these and can go on. Let’s take a look.
Super Bomberman R 2 is bringing back what we know. The Bomberman family is back. They are still silly, dysfunctional, funny and getting the job done. There’s another threat in the universe. The Bomberman brothers and their new friends, the ellons, have to save the universe… again. So that’s the story basically. It’s a Bomberman game after all.
Super Bomberman R 2 is something that’s on our screens for sure. There’s lots to do in the previous game and now there’s even more. There’s even a whole new game mode too, that’s going to make players get tactical and think more. The story unlocks as you explore the planets which is a cool change. Makes exploration impactful and necessary. You go to do it. Use your bombs to blow things up, progress and defeat your foes. We hear there’s even a secret puzzle. Players may need to find hints for it.
Multiplayer in Super Bomberman R 2 is pretty much how we remember it. Use your bombs to blow up your enemies, outplay, outwit, or trap them. Whatever. It’s freaking Bomberman. You should know what to do. This also includes the 64 player mode. So yeah… the more the merrier… maybe. X35 Earthwalker won his very first 64 player battle Royale match… in his first match. That’s how good he is. Maybe he will do it again.
Now concerning the new mode, it’s called ‘Castle’. Here’s how it works. It’s a battle mode with a maximum of 16 players. Two teams. There’s an attack side and the castle side. Castle side is the defence side. It’s a battle over treasure chests and their keys off course. The castle side must defend the treasure chests and keys. There’s gimmicks available and even the Ellons. Use them well. Even better are these weapons the castle players can use. There’s three weapon types to take into battle but you must pick one. Each have conditions for players to meet, to charge the weapon. Use weapon when fully charged. Super Bomberman R 2 keeping it simple.
On top of this there’s an editor so you can custom build your own stages. Put in your gimmicks, set in some walls and finally test your stage yourself. Once it’s complete and works, then you can upload it. Add tags to it so it’s easier to find. You can easily find other players designed stages too and give them a run through.
We checked out some Super Bomberman R 2 gameplay and it’s what we expected. The animations, especially when it comes to the celebrations, seem to be a step up. The explosions are better too overall when it comes to details. After the flash of yellow/orange and red you then get the black smoke. Now hopefully this signifies whether it’s safe to proceed through their path or not is yet to be explored. The new mode is welcome for sure as it’s just more options and more ways to play. There’s quite a bit more they can actually do here.
Overall Super Bomberman R 2 looks like it’s going to be a blast just like the previous game. The matter of how smooth the gameplay will be, especially when compared to the previous one, matters. It’s colourful and looks fun as always. There are few questions concerning the multiplayer modes but these things can be found. The developers ‘Konami’ have done a fantastic job so far. X35 Earthwalker is looking forward to using bombs. Super Bomberman R 2 may have more explosions and a castle but those two get nothing down in the presence of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

So here are some thoughts from X35 Earthwalker on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Let’s take a look.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has the murderous Leather face family squaring up with the survivors. The survivors have to escape the house, facility or wherever they are held captive while the evil family tries to kill them. Simple. Now straight away players will make a comparison to ‘Dead by Daylight’. Similar but very clear differences for sure. Now straight up, X35 Earthwalker never cared for Dead by Daylight. We know about Dead by Daylight, the hunting villains, the traps and mechanics but never played and never wanted to. We can already confirm that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a better game than Dead by Daylight. Feed grandpa…
What’s sad is that when a new game comes in and even sort off steps on another established games territory, the fanbase of the established game at dumb and hate the new game. The left 4 dead 2 fans attacked Back 4 Blood. Back 4 Blood is better than Left 4 dead 2. So far it looks like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is having a good time and bringing in lots of new players to this genre of gaming. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has potential to do even more like locations and events. Feed grandpa?
From what we have seen so far it definitely looks like things are heavily in the favour of the killer family. They seem much stronger right now. We will say that we don’t know about the skill trees for each character. We know how it works, like increasing the savagery of leather face to do more damage for example but not the exact buffs it gives, unlocks and perks down the line and therefore the synergy and builds you can make. Who knows… maybe a focused powerful build can make Leland A survivor) bully the killers and tilt the whole favour to the victims. When you compare what these characters can do and the objective, it gets crazy. In Dead by daylight there’s one killer but in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre… there’s multiple. Feed grampa!
Just Sissy alone is a game changer. She can relentlessly chase down the victims and place the biggest amount of stress and pressure on survivors. She can go through gaps and crawl spaces too. Meaning the survivors are never safe. Then she’s poisoning people on top. You can hide by a gap, then blow poison in that area as a victim comes through and slash them up… easy kill. The hitch hiker is also chasing people down and going through certain spots too. He then set traps at crucial locations to slow you down. The cook is pad locking certain doors and locking things down. Less options for the survivors… and he has super hearing. Johnny is out here with powerful consecutive attacks and track players down to their almost exact location. Then big bad but stupid leather face who’s out here destroying obstacles and creating paths for his family. It’s good that his chainsaw alerts victims to where he is. Feed grandpa?!
The survivors have sound detection, faster unlocks, a shoulder bash, pain tolerance basically and a big second wind for sprinting. Of course the skill tree will change things for sure but it’s definitely one sided by the looks of it. Now off course there are factors like communication skills and team work, the obstacles in the map themselves and that there’s multiple escape routes. We even saw players who escaped the map in a. matter of minutes. Like an insanely fast escape. Obviously since players will now be aware of this and the fuses, skilful family members will be aware and ready to stop that from happening. We definitely need to see more amazing gameplay from the survivors instead of cheap tactics that only work temporarily of the ignorance of murderer players. Feed grandpa()
This will lead to mind games between both sides and we already have advanced tactics in mind that we haven’t seen players do. Makes sense as X35 Earthwalker is the smartest person on the planet. Some youtubers say foolish things, when asked which side is stronger, like “it depends on the team”. That a response for the lazy and ignorant. No one wants such a lame answer. Currently the family is clearly stronger. The only time they have a hard time or lose is when they mess up or have a new player who doesn’t know much about the game. Feed grandpa-
Fine we will address grandpa. You guys keep bringing it up. Grandpa is the strongest member of the murder family. He makes things even more in the families favour. Get him activated as soon as possible! He will automatically slow down the victims as they have to stay still or spend time trying to take grandpa out. At max level which isn’t that hard to do, he completely destroys the victims by revealing them completely whether they are staying still for not. If the victims want to take too long and play hide and seek, then work on grandpa and they will regret it. Grandpa probably use to be the beast titan back in the day. Just listen to that howl/scream/roar. People sissy be collecting blood real easy. Too man players and youtubers forget to top grandpa up. Humph… amateurs.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre does have very graphic stuff happening which is needed. We like the different executions of the murder family. From the sadistic and laughing while killing, to the carefully placed slices and just straight up brutal kills with chainsaw. Many people like this game for a reason. The dumbest player we’ve ever seen with the worst gameplay ever was a dude named ltg. He was the worst victim player we ever saw. Now actually good players make the game fun and interesting to watch. Giving more of an adventure feel. We definitely look forward to seeing more of this game. X35 Earthwalker definitely expects more to come. Now The Texas Chain Saw Massacre may have a killer family but they wouldn’t stand a chance against… the ‘Earth walk!’

Hello Engineer: Scrap Machines Constructor is all about players doing lots of construction and building of vehicles and other machinery. All this to overcome obstacles and challenges in an amusement park. Your neighbor, who is described as “creepy” is the antagonist. He also has evil bots. So even the neighbour wants to be Doctor Eggman. That’s the story basically.
So this is what Hello Engineer: Scrap Machines Constructor brings to the table. You still have the neighbour, he’s still being creepy and there’s aspects of puzzles. You got to understand what’s going on, come up with a solution and it has to be done through your construction. We do like the change of genre and direction as it’s good to try new things and add more flavours to the meal.
We checked out some Hello Engineer: Scrap Machines Constructor gameplay and it’s what we expected. Hello Neighbor style for sure and graphics. There’s gaps and jumps to make. There’s ramps and even what looks like a full race course section. You can build a lot of things. The size, the Fram, the shape, the tire types and size of course. You can even construct things that fly. Yeah, as in you got flames coming out to propel something into the air sort of like a rocket.
Overall Hello Engineer: Scrap Machines Constructor looks like a good game. If you like the Hello neighbor universe or maybe the neighbor himself then you shouldn’t have much of a problem. If you are creative and like Minecraft then you should be good too. The graphics are good for the style. Seems to be a good amount of creativity. The developers ‘tinyBuild’ have done a good job by the looks of it. We at X35 Earthwalker are not interested in this game but will have to hear what happens. Quantum: Recharged is an arcade, retro style game developed by ‘SneakyBox‘ and published by ‘Atari‘. Quantum: Recharged is said to be coming out the 17th of August 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Atari VCS, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. It’s good to see a re-release of an old game and modernised. X35 Earthwalker will see how interesting this is. Let’s take a look.
Quantum: Recharged has a very simple premise. Players must encircle and trap the enemies with your ship to create zones that destroys them. Pretty cool and different from the straight up bullet hell or arcade shooter. So the aim is to avoid damage at all costs. Be quick and stay mobile. Players will need to get sort of tactical.
So those who play the original will know what to do in Quantum: Recharged. Quantum: Recharged has the improved sounds, graphics, visuals, animations, scenery etc… But wait, there’s more! arcade mode off course as you got to play the game first. There’s leaderboards which means things get competitive. All those with no life will score high. Power ups, as new flavours need to be added. Power ups include things like an extra life, unlimited dodges and even freezing your enemies.
Challenge mode is a thing. Quantum: Recharged challenge mode has 25 so called, “hand-crafted” levels which have their own challenges. For example, defeat a certain number of enemies within a time limit. Not very challenging if you ask us. Step it up Quantum: Recharged. The best thing they got going for them though is the fact that Quantum: Recharged has local co-op. So grab a family member or fiend, hand them a controller and have some fun.
We checked out some Quantum: Recharged gameplay and it’s what we expected. Quantum: Recharged is definitely fast paced. Very fast. So make sure to get use to the speed. Dash around, avoid damage and danger, encircle foes and beat them. It’s so arcade and classic looking. Flashy, lights and action.
Overall Quantum: Recharged looks like a fun game. A good fun game. Classic fun and simple formula. The developers ‘SneakyBox’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear how this game does. Quantum: Recharged may have a rerelease but it’s still hasn’t got the same quality level as… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Under the Waves is a narrative adventure game developed by ‘Parallel studios‘ and published by ‘Quantic Dream‘. Under the Waves is said to be coming out the 29th of august 2023 on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. Under the Waves is clearly trying to do something deep here. X35 Earthwalker has tamed the deep and so will be the judge here. Let’s take a look.
In Under the Waves players control a dude called Stan. He’s a professional diver. He’s in deep… literally. In the ocean under the waves all by himself. The year is 1970 and it’s a futuristic advanced 1970 to have this kind of tech. Stan is having a struggle in his mind. He experienced a “life-changing loss”. He can’t seem to get over it and move forwards. He’s got a decision to make. What will he do?
Smart move by Under the Waves. Now Stan being in the north sea is actually a good representation of his situation. He is all alone and isolated from the rest of people. Yet Stan mentally isolated himself and made himself all alone. He is right where he wants to be. Can he stay there forever though? As he gets deeper in his mental isolation, things start to happen in the ocean. As in strange events… deep down.
We checked out some Under the Waves gameplay and it’s mostly what we expected. Under the Waves stays having you dive down into the ocean. Mix of gameplay and cinematic to make the ocean more active. Use the submarine and see different things. Things like a sunken ship. Big cool creatures like even a whale. Under the Waves has Stan equipped with a special wetsuit. Expect underwater plants and even plants. They got a story here so pay attention. Heard it was deep.
Overall Under the Waves seems like a good game. The graphics are very good. The lighting is very good. The visuals could have been better. The ocean with all the life in it needs to be presented and displayed in excellent levels. It needs to be big. Also looking so big compared to us. Lots of life and look the part. The ocean is arguably going to be the biggest thing for us concerning Under the Waves. Hopefully the story will be as narrative driving and deep as we hope… and as portrayed by the developers. The developers ‘Parallel studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what it brings forth. Now Under the Waves may be in the ocean but it ain’t deep enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
