Aniimo Helios X35 Earthwalker

Aniimo is off course here by now and it’s already made an excellent impression as expected. Aniimo is fantastic. There’s no other verdict you can give the game and many players are diving in, zooming ahead or just taking their time like X35 Earthwalker. There’s a few issues though.

Let’s talk about the great stuff with Aniimo. The game is unique and does its own thing. It’s not a pokemon clone like some low iq morons have called it. It’s very distinct. The world is worth exploring and even have things not seen in other worlds before. For example when there’s heavy cloud areas, the cloud animos like Nimbi and Turbo can literally fly. This is very useful. There’s basically ruins in the world that contain challenges inside, sort of reminding us of those challenge/pizzle locations in Zelda breath of the wild.

Aniimo many creatures

Aniimo also allows you to merge (twining) with your aniimos which allows you to take control of the creature and perform its moves and traits. This means if you have a celestis then you can climb basically any surface and even glide through the air to reach far distances, soften your fall etc. Fire aniimos can use their flames to burn thorns and wood. Water aniimos can put out fires… you get what we are saying. Yse they’re elements in the environments, mechanisms etc. This twining reminds us of Cassette Beasts.

The world is definitely alive with loads of missions and things to do. Exploration will reward you in one way or another. Finding something or completion based awards. Missions like helping a band of birds perform a song to hearing a story from very leafy aniimos concerning their evolution. Oh that’s another thing. Many aniimos can evolve. Something that you couldn’t do in Palworld. The battles are epic too. They remind us of both Digimon Digital world 1 and Palworld. Your aniimo controls themselves and battles while you the player also takes part.

The combat in itself has mechanics and a few layers itself. Maybe will get into that more in a X35 Earthwalker podcast episode instead. The aniimos themselves are the cleanest designed creatures out of all creature capture games…. of its type. They are doing their own things in their environments and ecosystems. Some flame aniimos can accidentally set the gras on fire and burn it up, just by moving around. There’s legendary aniimos who literally run parts of the world like aeons and other lesser guardians. Powerful and some humans honour them. Oh and quickly, the character customisation is excellent.

What’s very unique is the whole RV mechanic which actually changes the game. The Rv isn’t for driving around. It’s a home. Once you enter from the back (pause) you go through like a portal and end up in a whole world and environment that’s not in the main world map. There’s grass and field for you to literally place structures and off course farm for resources like wheat and wood. You literally end up playing harvest moon. You literally farming, using the products, sowing seeds etc and your aniimos help out. It’s crazy. You an early spend HOURS in there.

Aniimo musical birds

Now let’s talk a bit about the negatives. First of all even though the character customisation is excellent with lots of depth, it’s much weaker on the male side. It’s why X35 Earthwalker went with a female character for this game as there was more going on with the female side of things. The voice of the female characters is weak. We need more options. Actually do not like the voice of our character. We want it to change. The voice isn’t great or matching our character design.

Next negative of Aniimo is the management of aniimos. Do not like it when it comes to sorting aniimos in the storage but it’s worse when it comes to having a aniimo on hand to use its element to help in the environment. For example X35 Earthwalker is focusing on levelling up this team of 4 aniimos, so they are in his party. He comes across something that needs to be burned. None of his aniimos are fire. So have to open aniimo management, select a fire pal and add it to a second present team and then switch to the second team. Now this doesn’t take long but it’s annoying to do this. Dragon Age the veil guard handles this perfectly. Through solas dagger you can summon and use there abilities of allies that aren’t in your party. Hopefully a change comes.

Aniimo pathfinder battle

The other negatives come from haters and lower iq players. There’s morons on steam, where the dumbest people are, who rated the game negative because the game has micro transactions. This is what happens when you listen to cancers in gaming like angry joe. Aniimo is free to play and the developers need to make money and broke losers are crying over micro transactions. Even calling it pay to win… even though you can unlock and earn everything just from playing. Get your money up. Another person complained about the writing/dialogue and only provided one example which wasn’t even a good one. Every idiot with an account thinks they are a professional writer now.

Then there’s a guy who said that the developers can delete your game if inactive for a year. A WHOLE YEAR. That’s not good, true but if you are not playing for a whole year, then you aren’t playing anymore. There’s no active live service game that we like, where we stopped playing for one whole year but still wanted to play it. This again isn’t a big deal. All you got to do is log in at some point through the whole year. That’s crazy. Most of the negative ratings are honestly false or weak reasons. You can play this whole fantastic game for free. Stop complaining.

Overall Aniimo is fantastic and there’s more that we haven’t even touched on yet. Probably talk about them in an upcoming podcast episode. The negatives are very few. Most are not even legitimate issues with the game itself. Off course Aniimo is best experienced on XBOX thanks to XBOX play anywhere and as there are game pass perks as well. X35 Earthwalker confirms this. Objectively XBOX is the best place to play Aniimo. Now Aniimo may be fantastic but it’s just alright compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
