X35 Earthwalker White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a survival horror game developed by ‘Sonnori‘ and published by ‘PQube‘. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is said to be coming out September 8th 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PS4. It came out years ago on pc and many knew about this game. X35 Earthwalker knows this game very well. We hope some things have changed though. Let’s take a look.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School was. A very popular game. Many people made gameplay video of this game. To simply explain the story of this game. You control a dude named Lee. He enters the school after it’s closed for the day. More like snuck in. He did this to return an item that a girl dropped and left behind. Problem;em is… this school has many problems. Some are supernatural. It ain’t safe up in here.

X35 Earthwalker White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

The big problem that White Day: A Labyrinth Named School will have is that it already went viral. It went big. Now it’s coming out just on the consoles? That isn’t enough. There needs to be more to this game. Well… we hear there is. Apparently there’s all new visuals, which was clearly needed. New audio effects too. There’s a brand new character! New scenario and best of all “reimagined ghosts”. Apparently there’s also special endings too. So there is some new stuff.

X35 Earthwalker White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

The reimagined ghost is what we are most interested in for White Day: A Labyrinth Named School. The ghosts and the strange supernatural stuff was the best things overall. Were hope the ghosts looks more threatening, sound more terrifying or creepy. We want new ghosts too. There isn’t much but there’s room for new things and action. They have to supe this game up.

We checked out some White Day: A Labyrinth Named School gameplay and it’s what we expected. We do want to see more from this game though. It still doesn’t feel like enough. We know that there’s the famous and loved, while hated, janitor. The janitor is back and he’s got his baseball club. Ready to beat students over the head just like old times.

Overall White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a good game for sure. Characters, actions, hunters, ghosts, tons of secrets, multiple endings and an angry janitor. We also heard there is also 30+ additional costumes for all characters. So we are checking those out. The developers ‘Sonnori’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what else this game pulls out. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School may have reimagined ghosts but those are spooky enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands

The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is a strategy survival game developed and published by ‘Xigma‘. The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is said to be coming out the 19th of august on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. It’s already out on pc and mac but off course never heard of it on those platforms. X35 Earthwalker will  do a quick examination. Let’s take a look.

The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands drops players in a scenario where you have a small settlement. You obviously need to build and expand. This   won’t be easy as there are dangers for sure. Things that can straight up kill you like raids from monsters. It’s about survival. Build, get resources, manage them well, make decisions or not. It’s up to you.

X35 Earthwalker The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands

Decisions off course need to be made in The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands. Each decision is said to impact the survival of your people. For example money, would you rather get more farmers or more guards? If you have more farmers then that means more food for the people but if you have more guards then there’s better security and more safety for your people. So yeah, decide.

We checked out some The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands gameplay and it’s sort of what we expected. Reminds us of another game with a somewhat similar style. Over time you can tech up as in upgrade what you have. Eventually you can get your hands on more advanced crafting options, get more advance buildings and even trade with others. It’s a simple game, with somewhat simple style.

Overall The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands just seems like a casual game where you can chill and see clear progression. We see the strengths of The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands but also its weaknesses. This game needs to be deeper and have more going on to get our attention. We hear that there’s secrets of the ancients but still… not for us. The developers ‘Sigma games’ have done an alright job. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what players concerning this game. Now The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands may have a bonfire but it’s too small for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Deadcraft is a zombie survival action game developed by ‘Marvelous‘ and published by ‘XSEED games‘. Deadcraft is said to be coming out the 19th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Deadcraft is not trying to be another zombie game. It has interested us. X35 Earthwalker will have his say. Let’s take a look.

So here’s the run down of what’s happening Deadcraft. It’s a world that has been completely ruined by a deadly virus. You control a guy called Reid. He is half zombie. Now being half zombie comes with it’s challenges. People may not like you or trust you. This means you can’t just live with humans in a colony really. Your survival is one thing. Survival. You got to survive. In this ravaged world.

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Now there’s multiple things you need too do to make that happen in Deadcraft. You can arm yourself, grab all kinds of weapons and get to work on all dangers that comes your way. You can also grow your own army of zombie followers. This alone is a very cool concept. It’s not just slay the zombies and it’s not just destroys the humans. You are in between the two. You can communicate and co-operate with the humans. This off course leads to visions, impacts and opportunities.

Remember we mentioned survival? Well. Yeah, they are taking that sort of seriously. Not as serious as Metal Gear Survive though. In Deadcraft, players need to get food and water. You will also need money too. So earn your living. We did mention that you can communicate and co-operate with humans. So survival does take some work. You can’t just sit there. You could always just take what you want by force.

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Deadcraft takes things to another zombie level. You are half zombie, remember? This comes with abilities your own. They are quite comical. Some have to do with your messed up arm. There’s powers for sure. There’s also a crafting system too. You can build some real nonsense weapons and defence turrets etc. Watch the official trailer and you will see examples of that. This game has a Deadrising silliness but not as comical and silly. You can get creative, have fun and fight for your survival while keeping your brains.

We checked out some Deadcraft gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. It’s serious but goofy still. It’s destroying zombies and crushing humans. Running an army. Fighting with allies, crafting all kinds of stuff and being cool while doing it. Just look at the gameplay for yourself.

Overall, Deadcraft seems like a good game. It’s definitely doing something different and we like that. Half zombie dude with abilities, trying to survive in this messed up world. Deadcraft has what it takes to explode. Deadrising fans should like this. We definitely need to see more of this game though. We need to see more of the combat and other factors. The developers ‘Marvellous’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what Deadcraft brings. Now Deadcraft may have a half zombie but that is not impressive when you compare it to… the ‘Earth Walk’

X35 Earthwalker Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition

Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition is survival simulation game developed by ‘Gentleman studios‘ and published by ‘Assemble Entertainment‘. Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition is said to be coming out the 19th of March 2022 on the Xbox Series X and PS5. X35 Earthwalker gives all types of games a chance. He speaks once more. Let’s take a look.

Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition has a simple situation going on in world. Basically some terrorists messed up big time. They blew up nuclear power plants all around the world which as you can imagine ruined the world. Majority of people died and the ones who survived did so thanks to these underground facilities called Endzones. Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition is all about survival. This is the manage a whole city or town simulation and keep everyone alive.

X35 Earthwalker Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition

So yeah, Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition is a survival simulation but what’s the main action here? There’s no mutated monsters our aliens coming to destroy. Your main enemy is… the environment. There are “violent weather events”. Examples would be drought off course and even a sandstorm. The environment is hostile and there’s loads off radioactivity, “extreme climate change” and even the rain has been contaminated. Do not go singing in the rain. Ye have been warned.

X35 Earthwalker Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition

We checked out some Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be. Use your tools to build structures for housing. Eventually acquire a stable means for handling water and food. and even produce a working electrical system. Now there is another threat besides the weather. There’s raiders. These violent scum are all about the destruction of your settlement. So make sure you have the right structures and forms of defence in place.

Overall Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition seems like Ana right game.We do like the large amount of details in this game. Look at the trees and the designs of the buildings. Situations will pop up concerning the people and as the leader, you choose how to respond and handle it. Equip your people and workers for the job. This game goes deeper but that’s for you to find out and discover. The developers ‘Gentleman studios’ have done a nice job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker hopes this game does well. Now Endzone: A World Apart Survivor Edition may have a ruined radioactive world but it would all be cleansed in an instant with… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a action survival role playing game developed and published by ‘Techland’. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is said to be coming out the 4th of February 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Also the 2nd of April 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. The fast paced action with monsters is back. Let’s take a look.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is taking place in a dark world (off course) where the virus won and humanity got set back to the dark ages. Players control a wanderer who has “great power and abilities”. You are also haunted by memories which you yourself cannot decipher. The whole motto here is “stay human”. Player are encouraged by the game to stay human. Nothing is nice and luxurious here. It’s all doom and gloom and people dying and all that stuff. You know the drill by now. There are some differences and changes this time around.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Let’s give an example. Normally in Dying Light going out during the day was much safer as the real monsters come out to play. So you explore during the day and hide during the night. In Dying Light 2: Stay Human you are encouraged to go out at night. Why? It’s simple. Think about it. At night, the monsters come out, which also means that the monsters aren’t home. This means players can sneak into their homes. Allowing the scavenging of their goods. We like this twist. Yes we are aware there was a bit of this in the last game but not to this degree or level.

Dying Light: Staying Human seems to be making more use of the parkour mechanics. This was lacking in the previous games. There’s Dying Light: Staying Human will have more creative weapons that are to be used in sync with your movements. There’s traps too which you can take advantage of. We do want to see this stuff in action though. Will it be like sound based gadget which brings their attention, then you run through to have them chase you into traps. Will there be anything that can be like solvents on the floor that cause slips. We want this to work as parkour stuff like climbing, shimmying, jumping, running and more are big parts of the game. Like the core. So we need to see more things built around this.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light: Staying Human has the whole ‘your choices matter’ mechanic going on. Most games fail at doing this right, or even doing it at all. They said “shape the future of the city with your actions and watch how it changes”. We at X35 Earthwalker are very skeptical when it comes to the whole your choice matters mechanic. Developers just need o make sure that the choices and actions ACTUALLY matter. Maybe the different factions get stronger because you didn’t deny them resources. Maybe a faction backs you p in a battle because you’re on good terms, or like a cease fire. Etc. Do it right.

We checked out some Dying Light: Stay Human gameplay and it’w what we expected. We couldn’t tell if the changes we wanted are there. There seems to be new enemies or should we say variants of the monsters. We have seen anew character called Lawan who is described was smart and uses a cross bow. She looks cool. An actual likeable character design. Whether I’d a good design though we will judge once we can see the whole character model. Game developers have bad habits. Hope Techland do things differently. We do like that there’s multiplayer and co-op. That you can enter their world and see what they did differently. Multiplayer is a smart move. Especially for an action game like this.

Overall Dying Light 2: Stay Human just seems like another Dying Light game and not in a good way. We want to see something that gets our attention. Visually it’s good but the game isn’t scary at all so horror should be removed from the description. Nor did we feel any danger or threat. Off course X35 Earthwalker built different but still but we need to feel something. The developers Techland have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this does. Now Dying Light 2: Stay Human may have monsters that ap[pear at night but those things hide because of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

The Riftbreaker is a new base building survival game developed by ‘EXOR Studios‘ and published by ‘Surefire games‘. The Riftbreaker is said to be coming out the 14th of October 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. The Riftbreaker definitely got our attention. Let’s take a look.

The Riftbreaker simply is about an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful and advanced mech suit (they call it mecha-suit). Like Samus Aran, the it’s a woman in the powerful mech suit. She is captain Ashley S. Nowak. The Riftbreaker is all about that survival and base building. So go out there do your research in the field, collect samples and invent new things with survival as your top priority on an alien planet called galatea 37. How did you get there? A one way portal (one way).

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

The mission in The Riftbreaker is to create and build a base that has the means to allow travel back to earth. Basically become a two way portal. This off course won’t be easy as galatea 37 (the planet) is alien inhabited and some of these aliens are very hostile and dangerous. As in trying to kill you. Your actions on the planet will of course draw attention. The player must venture out and explore the planet in her mech suit, which she calls ‘Mr Riggs’. Extract resources and even capture certain specimens. Aliens might show up. This mech suit isn’t just samples and research. It’s fully equipped for combat and can handle the toughest and most harsh environmental conditions.

This isn’t just a base building survival game. There’s also action and role playing  game elements. The mech suit can be equipped with a flamethrower for deep frying aliens. There’s a minigun which off course shreds and trashs all who stands in it’s way. There’s off course energy blades because why not? It’s a futuristic high tech mech suit. It demands energy based weapons. There’s even mortar shells that you can fire at a distance to bring that area of effect damage. There’s even more technology and equipment that the mech suit can get to bring the combat to the enemy. Now off course, there are limits though.

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

So lets sum up a bit here concerning The Riftbreaker. You are primarily focusing on base building but you must venture out to do research and gain the knowledge to build a base that allows two way portal transportation while defending yourself from hordes of enemies north outside in the field and back at the base itself. You need to build defence towers, erect walls and place gates to protect and defend and stay alive. Sounds simple. Sounds a bit too simple right now. We hope that changes fast.

We checked out some The Riftbreaker gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. We like that the attacks on your base from the horde of enemies get bigger each and every day. Eventually you face thousands. So the sooner you complete your mission, the better. How you build matters. You can get tactical with the base building. You can build with the walls to make a maze to stall the horde and set them up. We like the variety of aliens you can encounter during your expeditions out there but we hope they have variety when it comes to base defence as well. The horde better not just be simple enemies. Variety means more strategic builds are required.

Overall The Riftbreaker looks like a very good game indeed. There’s a lot we like about it. We like the whole concept here with the base building and defence while also being part of the action and getting out there. The game looks very good graphically. The visuals are very good too. So much colours and the environment definitely looks like an alien planet. There’s so much to say but we will leave this here. The developers ‘EXOR Studios’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to this game. Now The Riftbreaker may have scientific technology and an advanced mech but those things are too primitive for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Lost at Sea

Lost at Sea is a adventure survival game developed by ‘Studio Fizbin‘ and published by ‘Headup‘. Lost at Sea is said to be coming out the 15th of July on 2021 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Being lost at sea is a whole problem in of itself but there’s a bit more going on here. Let’s take a look.

Lost at Sea is all about Anna. She is described as being in the later stages of her life. She is now alone though. Which is also a problem. So she’s in a situation where she’s going over her life, her memories. She has to construct her memories though. You must find objects and stuff of interest. Anna is basically thinking about her life and is now asking the question… “Did I do it right?” Many have asked that question but not all. So yeah, help Anna out. Lost at Sea style.

X35 Earthwalker Lost at Sea

Now all this Lost at Sea action takes place on an island. This island isn’t normal. There’s different biomes on the island. Each biome represents a different phase of her life. Players have to explore each biome and phase of her life. This means solving riddles and piecing things together. This is all happening while Anna’s fears are hunting you, chasing you. Your fears are here to prevent you from progressing and keep you in sorrow.

X35 Earthwalker Lost at Sea

We checked out some Lost at Sea gameplay and it’s what we expected. It’s more like an exploration chill game with a big focus on emotions and feelings. A game that has some sort of lessons concerning life for players. This game is literally supposed not be about life. We at X35 Earthwalker will be the judge as to wether their advice is accurate or not. Players can take their time. We like the different biomes, the night sky, the lights and even the trees. There’s differently some creativity here and we like that. Lost at Sea shouldn’t have been described as an adventure game though.

Overall Lost at Sea seems like an average game really but with heavier content. We like the graphics and visuals. The theme is good but we hope it can be handled well. Nothing truly stands out about the game except that beautiful night sky with stars and the orange balloons. Lost at Sea can be great but we need there to be more. The focus should be on the fears and how it looks like a darkness. The developers ‘Studio Fizbin’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have see what Lost at Sea accomplishes. Lost at Sea may have questions about life but they don’t understand life as well as… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Outbreak Endless Nightmare

Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is a survival horror game developed and published ‘Dead Drop Studios‘. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is said to be coming out the 19th of May 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. It is already out on the PS4 though. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares has a few tricks up it’s sleeves. Let’s take a look.

Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is another game we didn’t know anything about. From what we do know is that Lydia is the main character and she has survivors with her. They are in the remains of Arzt Memorial Hospital. Now they about to have another nightmare. What was the previous nightmare? We don’t know. What we do know is that this time… they will experience true horror. Some people just can’t catch a break sadly.

X35 Earthwalker Outbreak Endless Nightmare

Now remember that Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is a survival horror game. What else is a survival horror? Resident Evil. So expect running from enemies, valuing ammo heavily, being careful with your shots and being limited on supplies while monsters and dangerous beings trying to kill you. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares takes things further though. Firstly there are some rougelite elements involved. Every time you enter an anomaly, it has “semi-procedurally generated instances”. So take note of the enemies that are there and the environment. This off course does create more replayability.

You’ve got to fight through each anomaly and off course explore and gather what you find. You need resources in Outbreak: Endless Nightmares. You need to find the journals scattered around for two reasons. Firstly to find a place of refuge as being safe matters. Second to learn and know more about this outbreak. There are multiple characters, each with their own abilities and upgrade paths. So players can level up different characters. The game reacts to your level ups and upgrades. Each anomaly you enter will become more difficult.

X35 Earthwalker Outbreak Endless Nightmare

We checked out some Outbreak: Endless Nightmares gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be but the quality is worse. Don’t expect a top level quality game with great animations and graphics. It’s here to deliver what it says on the box. It’s a survival horror where you face the undead. There’s storage caches to help with inventory, there’s a hub where players have time to decide what to take with them. Most importantly though is your supplies. If you run out, it’s been said that “your fate is sealed.” Our favourite part is that Outbreak: Endless Nightmares has co-op and split screen too. So grab some allies and face the nightmare together.

Overall Outbreak: Endless Nightmares seems like another more casual game for gamers to jump into and just play with simple fun. The should remove horror from the description as nothing about Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is scary. We aren’t happy with the quality though. This game isn’t our thing but some gamers will give it a try. The developers Dead Drop Studios have more work to be done on it. We at X35 Earthwalker hope to hear of improvements to the game. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares may have the undead but those undead will be permanent dead against… the ‘Earth Walk!”

Aliens: Fireteam is a new cooperative third-person survival shooter game developed and published by ‘Cold Iron Studios‘. Aliens: Fireteam is said to be coming out in the third quarter of 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. The aliens are back and this time, it’s serious. Let’s take a look.

Aliens: Fireteam has a very simple story. A fire team of marines, hardened marines jump in, head first into a major league xenomorph threat. Why? Well a “mysterious distress call” went out and off course we just got to respond right. The marine assault unit make their way to LV-895 which is in the outer colonies. It wouldn’t be an shooter alien game if this place didn’t have xenomorphs and some sort of ancient alien civilisation links. Also it wouldn’t be aliens if there wasn’t any hidden corporate secrets going on. So yeah, Aliens: Fireteam has the typical package.

So let’s give it to you straight. Aliens: Fireteam is a cooperative third person shooter game. You get to create your own fire team and customise them. You can decide their class, perks, weapons (off course) and gear. Then dive straight into the action and start shooting. Expect loads of danger and enemies. There’s 30+ weapons from what we have heard. About times the marines get new weapons. Got to adapt and improve. There’s also 70+ weapon attachments/mods. Let’s get into a bit more details.

There are five unique classes: Doc (Doctor), Gunner, Technician, Recon and Demolisher. We can figure out what each class does. Doc would be focused on healing and health. Gunner is the big gun and should do the most direct damage. Technician has the technology to grant advantages, basically the support class. Recon should be the one to bring awareness, expose enemies, navigate, lead the charge sort off. Demolisher just blows stuff up and maybe destroy fake walls for secrets etc. Each class has their own character perks and special abilities. Aliens: Fireteam has variety.

There are four different campaigns in Aliens: Fireteam that are said to introduce new storylines to the alien universe. We are expecting a variety in the level designs because of the different campaigns. Some locations are clearly xenomorph hives or heavily taken over areas. So the developers need to capitalise on this. There’s also a challenge card system to make your playthroughs different and add deployability to the game. The card challenge seems to be where you can accept added difficulties, twists to shake things up.

The enemies you face are interesting for the most part in Alien: Fireteam. There are two groups: Xenomorphs and “Weyland-Yutani synthetic foes”. Not only that but we hear there are over 20 enemy types. This is exciting. We expected more enemies and variety of xenomorphs and they have done that. There’s 11 different types of xenomorphs which includes facehuggers and praetorians. So expect even new xenomorphs. Those synthetic enemies can harm you up close while some wield weapons as in guns. They take cover and fire at you.

We checked out some Aliens: Fireteam gameplay and it’s what we expected. We are glad they are doing it this way. It’s a serious fire fight out here. The aliens, each type have their own intelligence concerning how they attack and function. For example some types are all about ambushing you. Some try to outsmart you. Maybe while the main xenomorphs rush you, the smarter different type might try to go around. We know that players must watch out for vents, doors and off course keep an eye on the ceilings and walls too as threats can come from every angle possible. This means players need to work together and use cover well and hold good positions to prevent getting caught off guard.

Overall Aliens: Firebase looks like an awesome game. We are saying this with confidence. We like that you can play with both human players or A.I teammates. Not every has friends available or friends online at all. Aliens: Firebase plans to bring intense action. Facing literal hordes of enemies in some cases and feeling overwhelmed. We hope there is a high difficulty for this game. It needs to be difficult. Also the game looks very good. The graphics and visuals are very good. The level designs from what we have seen look very good too. Facilities and hive like areas. The developers ‘Cold Iron Studios’ have done an excellent job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing this game. This is an aliens game we are excited to see. We hope the devs do well with it. Now Aliens: Fireteam may have what fans have been waiting for but it’s still not as good as it would be if it was made by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

More information

Base One is a new space station simulator game developed by ‘PixFroze’ and published by ‘Blowfish Studios‘. Base One is said to be coming out in the second quarter of 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. This is about to be a new type of survival. It’s cool to see a game like this. Let’s take a look.

Base One is not just a simulator game but it’s survival. It’s described as hardcore survival with RPG mechanics. So you know it’s not about to be simple. You are space explorers who want to expand and build new homes in space and far in space too. So players must build new space stations and do all kinds of management. You need to manage power, heating and off course oxygen. There’s a whole campaign as well with a story with “socio-political drama” involving special interests and the powerful. That’s not what interested us in Base One though.

You will need to make multiple stations and off course the more stations you have, the more responsibilities, management and… threats. That’s right, there are threats in Base One. Asteroids can come your way and collisions with them will cause serious damage. If you don’t repair and handle it then expect to lose lives and maybe the whole station. Not only is there asteroids but there’s also aliens. Aliens are here too and they come with their ships and start firing at your stations. You can build defences and things to fight back, destroy asteroids and keep people alive. Again these things cost resources. So watch out for those in Base One.

There’s even a very detailed mode in Base One where you can monitor and clearly see which part of the station is getting power, how much you have and what’s going on in just more details. This is pretty cool but for a game like this, that’s needed. We don’t know if there is indication when the aliens will attack or when they are on the way like a warning. Maybe there’s something you can build that monitors activities going on a distance from the stations. There’s a number of things that can be built so make sure to check your… menu.

We checked out some Base One gameplay and it looks very good. We like the frame rates, we like the visuals of the space, we like the designs of the station parts and the details on them. We think the aliens need to be better though. So far the game does look easy but we need more information concerning certain factors like the attacks, asteroids, types of aliens etc. A true difficult survival game was Metal Gears Survive. So if Base One wants to call itself a “hardcore survival” game then it’s entering a different genre all together. It better be difficult. We know that you have to save your home planet from a serious danger.

Overall Base One looks like a very good game. We don’t have as much details as we wished but based on current information it’s a very good game. Plan scientific research, handle resource extraction and what you make. Just don’t forget to handle your crew. The developers ‘PixFroze’ have done a very good job with this game so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to listen out for anything more concerning Base One. Now Base One may have resources and serious survival but that’s not even a challenge for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
