X35 Earthwalker Hellpoint

Hellpoint is a sci-fi action role playing game developed by ‘Cradle Games’ and published by ‘tinyBuild’. Hellpoint is said to be coming out the 12th of July 2022 on the Xbox Series X and PS5. It’s already out on previous gen consoles, Nintendo Switch, linux, mac and pc. Hellpoint went for that high difficulty formula that many players enjoy. Let’s take a look.

Getting straight to the point. Hellpoint is almost 2 years old. You should know the deal by now. If you liked Sekiro Shadows die twice, Lords of the Fallen, Mortal shell or Demon’s Souls then you should quite likely be feeling Hellpoint. You have health, stamina and another meter to manage too. You have heavy and fast attacks, can dodge, vanquish bosses in arenas etc. You know the drill.

X35 Earthwalker Hellpoint

Hellpoint coming to next sen consoles, Xbox Series X and PS5 players can expect an upgraded game. Expect better visuals, controls, frame rates and performance. Not only next gen upgrades but also the fact that there’s a new dlc called Blue Sun. So there’s something extra right there. Trailer down below.

Overall Hellpoint doesn’t look like our thing but the fans of Hellpoint should be happy. The best thing is that Hellpoint has multiplayer, so why not bring in a buddy to help you slay enemies. The developers ‘Cradle games’ are making some moves, especially with the couch coop. X35 Earthwalker will just have to wait and hear how this game does. Now Hellpoint might have dlc on the way but it won’t be as good as… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Outward

Outward is a Role Playing Game developed by ‘Nine Dots studio‘ and published by ‘Prime Matter‘. Outward its said to be coming out the 17th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5. Outward was already released in 2019 on previous generation consoles and stuff but seems like no one cared. Next Generation is it’s chance to do better. X35 Earthwalker will speak. Let’s take a look.

Outward set in the “dazzling yet deadly” world of Aurai. This world isn’t all safe and nice. Sure there are some nice views and beautiful sights but there be danger around this world. But more on that danger later. You are basically an adventurer. You are traversing and exploring these crazy lands. So head out on expeditions, complete missions (off course), make discoveries like dungeons and even reach cities. There’s quite a bit of exploring to do. So get to it.

X35 Earthwalker Outward

So basically you play as… well here’s what the website says, “You play an adventurer, traveler and explorer.” You’re an ordinary character. Nothing special, no chosen one, no super powers, you’re not a demi god or even a fully trained soldier. So no super strength for you. You have to rely on your mind. You’ll need to be smart and strategic in order to survive. Not just that, there’s also your basic needs like eating, drinking and even getting enough sleep. So yeah, take care of that. Outward be playing games there. We also heard that there’s a so called “ritualistic, step by step approach to spell casting.” We would like to see how this works.

X35 Earthwalker Outward

We checked out some Outward gameplay and it’s not what we expected for the most part. We definitely love that Outward has co-operative play and even better SPLIT SCREEN CO-OP. Feels good to yell that while typing. This means grab your friends, family or a complete stranger without their consent and go on an adventure together. You must watch out for the many enemies and creatures that come straight from a fantasy book but not as cool. There’s diseases to avoid. Infectious ones. Players must wield and use combat and also magic. Also, there’s said to be rivals.

Overall Outward seems like it can be a good game. We aren’t impresses at all yet. We need to see more of Outward. We like that the game has a form of constant auto save to make sure players are stuck with the actions and decisions they take or make. There’s what’s called, “Encounter dynamic defeat scenarios”. Interesting. The developers ‘Nine Dots studio’ have done an alright job so far. We need things to be more dynamic. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to wait and hear what this game accomplishes. Now Outward may have fantasy creatures and dungeons but they are too simple for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Dolmen

Dolmen is an action role playing game developed by ‘Massive Work Studio‘ and published by ‘Prime Matter‘. Dolmen is said to be coming out the 20th May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. X35 Earthwalker being the smartest gamer to ever live, saw Dolmen and so now he speaks. Dolmen definitely looks like it could be special. Let’s take a look.

Let’s keep this simple for all of you, we are assuming, wonderful readers. Dolmen is set in a futuristic sci-fi type universe. Humanity has been colonising. They colonised several star systems. They also have space travel technology. They also have “genetic manipulation” basically making it so that humans can adapt to any planet condition. There’s an alien species called Vahani who are causing some problems. The key to all this is a crystal called Dolmen. Yep, we said it.

X35 Earthwalker Dolmen

All the action will take place on a planet called Revion prime where there’s an abundance of Dolmen. The Dolmen crystals are your top priority… well after surviving that is, get the crystals. It has been said that “Surviving is the last thing this world wants you to do”. Dolmen is one of those it’s easy to die games. Dying means your timeline gets eliminated. Exploration of Region prime is key. There’s many secrets for players to discover. It has been stated that you grow stronger with each battle. We would like to see how that works.

X35 Earthwalker Dolmen

There’s various weapons which can be used in combination with moves. We always believe that mobility is a big factor in battle. Players can go from melee to range, to melee once again. Of course one mode is better than the other concerning certain enemies. There’s also an energy mode which applies energy to your melee weapons causing elemental status effects. This should obviously be to counter the specific weaknesses of enemies. Now you can’t spam that as Dolmen requires the management of energy. Energy is also used for ranged weapons. So no spamming.

X35 Earthwalker Dolmen

We checked out some Dolmen gameplay and it’s also going for that popular style of easy to die while some enemies are powerful. Think of Elden Ring how you can die so fast. Players must time their dodges, do high damage, get mobile, know when to be melee or ranged. The world doesn’t look that impressive. For the futuristic setting, alien race, advanced technology and the use of energy. We expected an impressive looking world. We have high expectations for Dolmen. So let’s be patient and see the improvements. The combat speed matters.

Overall Dolmen looks like a nice game. Has the potential to be crazy but games have been failing semi recently so yeah, we will wait. When dealing with alien races you have full license to get creative. If the enemies look cool, we already on to something good; however the enemy we saw in the release date reveal trailer was lame. Didn’t feel threatened or impressed at all. We will leave this here. The developers ‘Massive Work studio’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out for this game. Dolmen can easily become special but currently it’s a common for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Godfall

Godfall is an Action Role Playing Game developed by ‘Counterplay Games inc‘ and published by ‘Gearbox Publishing‘. Godfall is said to be coming out on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One on the 7th of April 2022. Godfall is already out on PS5, PS4 and PC but we haven’t seen or heard anything significant about it back then. Godfall is suppose to be coming in hot. X35 Earthwalker will see for himself. Let”s take a look.

Here’s some quick small information concerning the story or lore of Godfall. The place of focus is Aperion. It’s “on the precipice of ruin”. Players control a valerian knight. Valerian knights are described as god-like warriors who can equip valorplates. Valorplates are legendary armour sets that make these knights become “unstoppable masters” of melee combat. Make your way through the elemental realms to find and fight macros. Who’s macros? Some dude described as the mad god. Yeah, go beat him up or something.

X35 Earthwalker Godfall

Godfall is all about big action. Godfall has been described as a looter slasher game. Godfall is also described as “fantasy universe filled with heroic knights and arcane magic”. Heroic knights tells us a bit about the game as knights are very versatile depending on the universe they are in but generally have variety options in their arsenal. We expect armour types, armour effects, armour designs and more. Arcane magic is a broader term. Arcane magic can mean anything, so we hope for a creative amount of magics and abilities. Big fantasy worlds must have large amounts of creativity. Not just the standard lame magic groups.

X35 Earthwalker Godfall

Now being a looter slasher means that there has to be lots of loots and things to find. Not every rpg game gets equipment and loot right. Drop rate, rarity chance, equipment effects, rarity actually being special, full pool of loot, can you get the same loot, can you do something with duplicates, equipment sets and do they have benefits, are equipped items visible and can that be toggled, how effective are the valourplate, how much difference do they make overall. We have lots of questions and don’t think Godfall will get it right. A game like this should have and does have multiplayer options. Godfall can be played solo, a couple or a team of three. Is there difficulty balancing for teams vs solo, are their benefits for playing solo and benefits for playing in a team. Or will team players always have the dominance and advantage over solo players? Games like Skyforge failed at this.

X35 Earthwalker Godfall

We checked out some Godfall gameplay and it’s almost what we expected. It’s fast, heavy, melee action. You have to time the dodges very well. Can get punished. Feels like a faster Elden Ring in a way. We do like the combat and it’s a good speed but the enemies seem inconsistent. Now off course Godfall coming to Xbox consoles is a year or two later from original launch so things should be better now. There’s lots we have taken notice of like the attributes: might, spirit and vitality. We want to keep this short so we won’t dive into them but Godfall has lots of potential but clear concerns already.

Overall Godfall looks like a good game and it certainly would benefit heavily from being on the Xbox Series X and S with how strong those consoles are. It’s strength is the combat and action. The bosses are humanoid but don’t come off as intimidating. More like a fair fight approach. The visuals are not impressive or up to the level that we expected. The particle effects are alright. The developers ‘Counterplay Games’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what’s up with this game and whether it’s coming in hot or not. Now Godfall may have so called god-like knights but even those are just brats in the eyes of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is an action Role Playing Game developed by ‘Koei Tecmo Games‘ and ‘Team Ninja‘ and published by ‘Square Enix‘. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is said to be coming out March 18th 2022 on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. There’s going to be lots of battles going on here. X35 Earthwalker is the best so it makes sense for us to talk about this. Let’s take a look.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has an adventure here for us. Basically a dude named Jack, who has a serious drive to defeat chaos, must bring back the light of the crystals to Cornelia. Cornelia is a whole kingdom but it has been defeated by darkness. So yeah, expect multiple obstacles. It’s final Fantasy after all, so expect a prophecy or two. Basically Jack and his allies don’t know if they are the warriors of light or not. X35 Earthwalker already can see where this story can go and how to go about it in design but let’s see.

X35 Earthwalker Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

It’s Final Fantasy. So you know there’s going to be big battles, some huge monsters and bosses and lots of weapons, magics and abilities. Gamers should expect a summon or two. If Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin doesn’t have summons, we will be heavily disappointed. X35 Earthwalker is quite interested in the whole chaos aspect. There was chaos in Final Fantasy XIII-2 with Caius. There was the goddess etro as well. So we would like to see how chaos rolls in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.

We saw a lot of different locations and environments in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Here’s a list of some: Pravoka seaport, Crystal mirage, Cavern of earth, chaos shrine, the western keep, sunken shrine, the Flying Fortress, refrin wetlands and more. We always like the variety. These places have been described as “these locations seem foreign, with strange scenery and cultural atmospheres that don’t seem to fit into this world.” Let’s see how they show this.

X35 Earthwalker Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin claims to have “wildly different movesets”. We saw different movesets in Final Fantasy XV and it’s good. We expect Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to be better. Like Astria Ascending, there’s job specializations which effect your skills. There’s a mechanic called soul shield which allows you to “lessen incoming damage”. Sort of reminds us of hardening in Mortal Shell. Like Elden Ring, you can rest at sites of grace – we mean save points which also brings back the enemies. So grind away. This should suggest that Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin should be a difficult game.

X35 Earthwalker Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Read this whole description about equipment, “Each piece of equipment not only changes base stats, but helps add stylish dark fantasy flair. Equip multiple pieces in a set to not only complete the look, but deepen the stat bonuses available to your party. Job-based skill trees help craft a party that support each other with abilities and special attacks that can offset weaknesses and bolster strengths; customize your party according to your play style.”  Now this can easily allow for some deep mechanics. We need to see that. Do it well please.

We checked out some Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin gameplay and it’s what we expected in terms of the combat style. Things look awesome already. The combat is looking real clean too. We also see what seems to be executions for finishing of enemies. They also get red crystallised by the looks of it. It’s final Fantasy so you know there’s elemental based mystical attacks. Use the right ones to exploits weaknesses, you know the drill. We are king what we see right now. Definitely. Why does Jack remind us of Cor the immortal? With a combat system this clean, we demand that the body battles be maximum epicness. They have the means to do so.

Overall Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin looks awesome right now. From the environments and rears, to the combat and the mysteries. There’s much more to explore and look into. Especially the deeper mechanics but for now. Awesome stuff.  you can even use your abilities to effect the environment. Like clear obstacles, open up paths and a bit more. The developers ‘Koei Tecmo Games’ and ‘Team Ninja’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker are excited to see what this game brings.

X35 Earthwalker Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an action role playing game developed by ‘FromSoftware‘ and published by ‘Bandai Namco‘. Elden Ring is said to be coming out the 25th of February 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Elden Ring has been expected and waited for by many for a while. X35 Earthwalker has shown interest in this game. Let’s take a look.

In the world of Elden Ring, you rise (well sort off), hoping to be “guided by grace” (sounds lame) to brandish the power of the Elden ring. So yeah, there’s a ring. There’s also the ‘lands between’ which is a whole world, which you want to conquer and rule… maybe. It currently belongs to the demigods but who cares about them. So you either be a power craving being or gain knowledge. Become a lord or something else. Elden Ring has been described as FromSoftware’s “largest game”. This is a big statement which carries weight. So off course most of our point scoring is based on their large open world here and how they use it.

X35 Earthwalker Elden Ring

Elden Ring continues the style of Sekiro shadows die twice style. You know, Nioh, Mortal shell, Dark Souls style. Big boss who does massive damage while you are small, far weaker and must dodge well and know when to strike to win. Elden Ring has been described as the largest one yet. A big open world, with creatures, beings and off course giant creatures all just wondering around, looking for a fight and doing their thing. So go ahead and cause some trouble. Oh and by the way there was a rune of death and the demigods were dying. there’s a lot of story and lore going on here, so those who care will get a nice sandwich out of this game. Elden Ring, you have a lot to meet up to.

X35 Earthwalker Elden Ring

We do know that there is different ways to play the game. From decisions, endings, character build, equipment, weapons, special abilities and magic etc. There are very big dungeons which aren’t safe places for a stroll. What we are very interested in, is the world itself. We are always like open world. We want to see how they use the space. The design of the buildings, whether creative or typical lame. Is there water, can you swim, anything under the water for us? What creatures are roaming? Will Elden Ring be fair with the secrets and collectibles or will it be random nonsense? How interesting is the world overall. Elden Ring has been described as a fantasy game so we are expecting too be amazed or interested. So the world will control a lot of the points for Elden Ring’s score.

X35 Earthwalker Elden Ring

We checked out some Elden Ring gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be but the lighting is better. We take the smaller stuff seriously. Like Sekiro, stealth is a real thing and so should be practiced. the environment can be used to give you an advantage too. Like elevation, rocky, obstacles etc. Even the weather and time of day can effect some things in a fight. Use them top your advantage as well. There’s horse riding and you can use one to face others who are on horses too. Why not call on your fellow tarnished to fight by your side? Like a coward. We seriously hope the bosses are impressive, some look scary and have a solid variety. Some Dark Soul bosses were lame, like someone who lacks skill came up with the idea.

Overall Elden Ring looks like it’s going to be a great game. Visually Elden Ring so far looks great. Not Halo Infinite level but great for sure. We mentioned that we liked the lighting. We hope it stays that good consistently. We have some thoughts about Elden Ring and just know this game has multiple missed opportunities but that’s what happens when you don’t have X35 Earthwalker lead your design and development. We have very high expectations. The developers have done a great job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what Elden Ring brings and does right. Now Elden Ring might have numerous bosses waiting for players but those bosses get swept aside by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker ELEX II

ELEX II is an action role playing game (RPG) developed by Piranha Bytes and published by ‘THQ Nordic‘. ELEX II is said to be coming out the 1st of March 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. ELEX is back. This has caught our attention. Let’s take a look.

ELEX II is back in the “post apocalyptic science fantasy world” of Magalan. What’s happening this time? Basically the Hybrid was defeated by Jax some years ago but now a new danger is here… coming from the sky. Everything on the planet is in danger. These invaders are too powerful for Jax alone. His mission this time is to get out there and convince the many different factions to unite and work together to beat the invaders. Easy right?

X35 Earthwalker ELEX II

ELEX II is keeping the huge open world approach which is a good thing. Players are given more freedom here. This is what the description says, “The game allows you to explore the planet of Magalan with unprecedented freedom”. Unprecedented is a serious word here. So we will hold the developers to this very word. Players have a jetpack allowing them to fly around and explore the world just like Anthem. Anthem brought the amazing in game flight mechanic and made it fun. We hope ELEX II took notes and did it just as well. Flying is such an awesome way to do things so this is good. This does bring up questions concerning the big world that players can explore. How biggish it? What things are there for players to discover. How difficult is the world? Is ELEX II going to be a difficult game? Will there be level zones? Many questions for sure but we are patient.

Let’s look at the factions. There’s: The albs, berserkers, outlaws, morkons, skyands and clerics. These 6 don’t sound impressive The berserkers basically had no technology and was very simple, medieval even but ended up getting access to magic. The morkons basically locked themselves away and don’t trust anyone or eat much. They became savages and want to destroy others. Skyands get their power from the dark elex and they seek to infect everything. Basically the bad guys. No one can beat them. The albs basically gained magic, meaning they have both magic and technology. They lost their emotions and empathy in the process. The clerics are highly technical and believe they are the only ones who can save the world, destroying those who don’t join their mission. The outlaws are the losers. They uses flex to make drugs. They get high and do whatever they want. Murder, steal whatever. the law of the strongest is their mantra.

X35 Earthwalker ELEX II

The world is said to be intractable. Players off course will be interacting with the factions. This whole world is filled with NPCs. Listen to what the game says about them. That the NPCs will remember what you do and react accordingly. That they will join or leave your group and it’s based on how you act and what you do. they also can be killed. them dying or living does have an impact on the story. We wonder how far this goes though. What if you get everyone killed? Are there any characters that just can’t be killed? Are there different endings. Does their view or relationship with the player effect combat and in game play like troops on the road? Games try to get the ‘consequences of your actions’ mechanic and most fail. We actually don’t know a game that does it well yet. We hope ELEX II do better.

We checked out some ELEX II gameplay and it’s less than what we expected. It doesn’t look as smooth and animated as we hoped. Yes that it isn’t the final build but we can only judge based of what we can see. It should be improved drastically. The flying isn’t as good as it is in Anthem either. We will have to wait for that to be improved as well. Remember that ELEX II is suppose to be next gen open world action RPG. So off course we expect lot. The morkons look disappointing. Thought they would look more different from regular people. Judging from their description, we expected them to clearly stand out. We knew about ELEX and didn’t care overall so ELEX II has to be special to get us into it. ELEX II can be very good and has the room for it but delivering is a different story.

Overall ELEX II looks like it’s going to be an alright game. We want to be proved wrong though. We want it to be great but we haven’t seen enough though. The combat looks simple. Remember that this is still early. More work is going to be done. We are looking forward to seeing the variety in the ELEX II world. The developers ‘Piranha bytes’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what ELEX II looks like and does when it’s released. Now ELEX II may have a new threat but this threat is a simple problem for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a action survival role playing game developed and published by ‘Techland’. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is said to be coming out the 4th of February 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Also the 2nd of April 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. The fast paced action with monsters is back. Let’s take a look.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is taking place in a dark world (off course) where the virus won and humanity got set back to the dark ages. Players control a wanderer who has “great power and abilities”. You are also haunted by memories which you yourself cannot decipher. The whole motto here is “stay human”. Player are encouraged by the game to stay human. Nothing is nice and luxurious here. It’s all doom and gloom and people dying and all that stuff. You know the drill by now. There are some differences and changes this time around.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Let’s give an example. Normally in Dying Light going out during the day was much safer as the real monsters come out to play. So you explore during the day and hide during the night. In Dying Light 2: Stay Human you are encouraged to go out at night. Why? It’s simple. Think about it. At night, the monsters come out, which also means that the monsters aren’t home. This means players can sneak into their homes. Allowing the scavenging of their goods. We like this twist. Yes we are aware there was a bit of this in the last game but not to this degree or level.

Dying Light: Staying Human seems to be making more use of the parkour mechanics. This was lacking in the previous games. There’s Dying Light: Staying Human will have more creative weapons that are to be used in sync with your movements. There’s traps too which you can take advantage of. We do want to see this stuff in action though. Will it be like sound based gadget which brings their attention, then you run through to have them chase you into traps. Will there be anything that can be like solvents on the floor that cause slips. We want this to work as parkour stuff like climbing, shimmying, jumping, running and more are big parts of the game. Like the core. So we need to see more things built around this.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light: Staying Human has the whole ‘your choices matter’ mechanic going on. Most games fail at doing this right, or even doing it at all. They said “shape the future of the city with your actions and watch how it changes”. We at X35 Earthwalker are very skeptical when it comes to the whole your choice matters mechanic. Developers just need o make sure that the choices and actions ACTUALLY matter. Maybe the different factions get stronger because you didn’t deny them resources. Maybe a faction backs you p in a battle because you’re on good terms, or like a cease fire. Etc. Do it right.

We checked out some Dying Light: Stay Human gameplay and it’w what we expected. We couldn’t tell if the changes we wanted are there. There seems to be new enemies or should we say variants of the monsters. We have seen anew character called Lawan who is described was smart and uses a cross bow. She looks cool. An actual likeable character design. Whether I’d a good design though we will judge once we can see the whole character model. Game developers have bad habits. Hope Techland do things differently. We do like that there’s multiplayer and co-op. That you can enter their world and see what they did differently. Multiplayer is a smart move. Especially for an action game like this.

Overall Dying Light 2: Stay Human just seems like another Dying Light game and not in a good way. We want to see something that gets our attention. Visually it’s good but the game isn’t scary at all so horror should be removed from the description. Nor did we feel any danger or threat. Off course X35 Earthwalker built different but still but we need to feel something. The developers Techland have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this does. Now Dying Light 2: Stay Human may have monsters that ap[pear at night but those things hide because of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Spellforce 3

Spellforce 3 is a real time strategy role playing game developed by ‘Grimlore games‘ and published by ‘THQ Nordic‘. Spellforce 3 is said to be coming out the 7th of December 2021 on the Xbox Series X and PS5. It’s already out on PC. Games like this need to do a lot to get us interested at all. Let’s take a look.

The world of Spellbreak 3 is set in the year 518 before what’s called “the convocation”. “The rebellion of the four royal houses has been quashed.” So that battle is over but the war off course damaged the country. Also the queen took heavy damage and is currently in a coma. Sounds like bad news all around. So some dude known as the lord marshall is ruling but he’s a rough person or something like that. Players most decide if they will remain loyal to the queen or be rebellious. Remember, we have never played a Spellbreak game. We don’t know about them either.

X35 Earthwalker Spellforce 3

Now Spellforce 3 is definitely one of those fantasy mythological games with spells, wars, clashes, swords and the sort. It’s controlling multiple units at once and targeting what you want, using specific tracks, maybe use something that’s damage over time or knock back type of game. Games like this off course has some big name competitors. So standing out here is going to be a problem. There’s certain things that we need to see.

There’s characters customisation for your hero and off course there’s skill trees. You must raise and build an army to fight big battles. Find companions who’s equipment and skills you can manage and decide. The companions also are said to have an impact on the narrative. That sounds cool for sure. There’s three factions: orcs, elves and humans off course. Choose one of the three factions and lead them to glory. There’s multiplayer as well which a game like this needs. Compete against other players in pvp or do co-operative to fight against forces.

X35 Earthwalker Spellforce 3

We checked out some Spellforce 3 gameplay it’s what we expected. We like those nasty spiders. We like the precise targeting you can do when it comes to picking specific enemies and selecting what attack. Off course games like this gives all the advantages to PC players. The locations are looking good but not enough detail in our opinion concerning the environment, trees, rocks etc. Take into account though that the initial PC release is old while the console release will have improved graphics, visuals and more. Concerning the trailer below, we wanted to use one that had gameplay but they were all age restricted by stupid youtube. They age restrict small figures fighting but some real violent and even sexual stuff is all good in their books. Idiots.

Overall Spellforce 3 looks like a alright game but not our thing. We haven’t seen anything that brings us in. It obviously has it’s fan base and players who enjoy it and that’s good. The developers ‘Grimlore games’ has done an alright job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have to hear what happens with Spellforce 3. Now Spellforce 3 might have three factions but those factions are nothing special in the eyes of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

The Riftbreaker is a new base building survival game developed by ‘EXOR Studios‘ and published by ‘Surefire games‘. The Riftbreaker is said to be coming out the 14th of October 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. The Riftbreaker definitely got our attention. Let’s take a look.

The Riftbreaker simply is about an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful and advanced mech suit (they call it mecha-suit). Like Samus Aran, the it’s a woman in the powerful mech suit. She is captain Ashley S. Nowak. The Riftbreaker is all about that survival and base building. So go out there do your research in the field, collect samples and invent new things with survival as your top priority on an alien planet called galatea 37. How did you get there? A one way portal (one way).

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

The mission in The Riftbreaker is to create and build a base that has the means to allow travel back to earth. Basically become a two way portal. This off course won’t be easy as galatea 37 (the planet) is alien inhabited and some of these aliens are very hostile and dangerous. As in trying to kill you. Your actions on the planet will of course draw attention. The player must venture out and explore the planet in her mech suit, which she calls ‘Mr Riggs’. Extract resources and even capture certain specimens. Aliens might show up. This mech suit isn’t just samples and research. It’s fully equipped for combat and can handle the toughest and most harsh environmental conditions.

This isn’t just a base building survival game. There’s also action and role playing  game elements. The mech suit can be equipped with a flamethrower for deep frying aliens. There’s a minigun which off course shreds and trashs all who stands in it’s way. There’s off course energy blades because why not? It’s a futuristic high tech mech suit. It demands energy based weapons. There’s even mortar shells that you can fire at a distance to bring that area of effect damage. There’s even more technology and equipment that the mech suit can get to bring the combat to the enemy. Now off course, there are limits though.

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker

So lets sum up a bit here concerning The Riftbreaker. You are primarily focusing on base building but you must venture out to do research and gain the knowledge to build a base that allows two way portal transportation while defending yourself from hordes of enemies north outside in the field and back at the base itself. You need to build defence towers, erect walls and place gates to protect and defend and stay alive. Sounds simple. Sounds a bit too simple right now. We hope that changes fast.

We checked out some The Riftbreaker gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. We like that the attacks on your base from the horde of enemies get bigger each and every day. Eventually you face thousands. So the sooner you complete your mission, the better. How you build matters. You can get tactical with the base building. You can build with the walls to make a maze to stall the horde and set them up. We like the variety of aliens you can encounter during your expeditions out there but we hope they have variety when it comes to base defence as well. The horde better not just be simple enemies. Variety means more strategic builds are required.

Overall The Riftbreaker looks like a very good game indeed. There’s a lot we like about it. We like the whole concept here with the base building and defence while also being part of the action and getting out there. The game looks very good graphically. The visuals are very good too. So much colours and the environment definitely looks like an alien planet. There’s so much to say but we will leave this here. The developers ‘EXOR Studios’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to this game. Now The Riftbreaker may have scientific technology and an advanced mech but those things are too primitive for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
