Battlestar Galactica Deadlock

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a new 3D turn based strategy game developed by ‘Black Lab Games’. It’s coming out on Xbox One and PS4 the 8th of December. It’s already out on PC though. Being a turn based space game sounds really interesting. We at X35 Earthwalker hope they pulled it off. let’s take a look.

In Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, the Cylons and the humans were in a deadlock. The Cylons however: launched a brutal surprise attack which allowed them to eliminate the colonial fleet high command. This off course is very bad for the humans. Now it all falls down to the rear-admiral Lucinda Cain. Here is where the players step in. Battlestar Galactica Deadlock requires players to get real strategic from what we know. Every decision is important and literally one move could make or break everything.

You get to control the whole colonial fleet from the shipyard called ‘Daidalos’. Make sure to build a big and powerful fleet because the task ahead is big. There are twelve colonies that are in danger because of the Cylon. Decide what ships you should have in your fleet. Build and design it how you want it. There are many ships with some serious firepower like the Jupiter class battleship and the Manticore Corvette. Others like the Raptor scouts and viper squadrons all await your orders. Already we are liking the sound of this.

Now Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is completely 3D. This means you can rotate the camera and see from any angle. Make your units fly anywhere and everywhere to flank enemy ships, attack from behind, retreat etc. After deciding your moves and actions you can watch it all play out in real time. You can also pause the real time as well. Maybe you want a better angle and to careful see what took place. Pretty cool if you ask us. If that wasn’t detailed enough, you can rewatch your whole battle with the auto cam replay. So you can see where things went well or went wrong. What’s very useful is that there is an in game too which allows players to easily export their battles straight to YouTube.

Now the Cylon are a serious enemy. They do not only have a charge head first strategy. this enemy actually comes at you in more than one way forcing players to stay fully alert and ready to handle multiple tasks at once. For example the Cylon may board a ship or colony meaning it’s up to your marines to defend, hold off and defeat the Centurion boarding parties. Wardriver electronic fighters may try to hack what systems you have, meaning firewalls are required to defend against them. Or the classical let’s bomb them out of the sky approach with Basestars launching missile salvos and Cylon raiders attacking. so not a simple enemy indeed.

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock

We checked out some gameplay and honestly it didn’t seem as fluent or as fun as XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. yes it is a different style but it seems like there is far to much planning instead of action. It’s great that there are many ways to go about it and that there is lots to look at but it makes it come off as slightly more boring. Off course, seeing gameplay is different from playing it and we haven’t played Battlestar Galactica Deadlock so we cannot confirmed this but who knows, it may give a different feeling when actually played. We do like the level of layers to this games strategy aspects.

Overall we think Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a very good game. The graphics and environments look very nice. The music and sounds are very good as well. The story we hear goes quite deep and it’s more than a simple destroy the aliens story. The amount of emphasis that the game puts on decision making is how strategic games should be in most cases. As in it only takes one move to change everything. The developers, ‘Black Lab Games’ did a very good job with this. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear open for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. This game might be worth checking out. The Cylon may be a serious threat but they ain’t nothing once compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

DOOM

DOOM or what some call DOOM 4 had a lot of hype and for good reason. DOOM delivered and brought a game which follows the ways of Ultimate DOOM. It was about constantly moving to avoid numerous projectiles and attacks coming your way. DOOM did get an update and we at X35 Earthwalker believe that stepped the game up to another level. Let’s take a look.

The DOOM campaign story was a bit weak but DOOM never really had much of a story. Basically it was demons show up, so let’s kill them, then we got to hell to kill them, they come to earth, we kill them again, then they kill your rabbit and so you kill then once again but the action was done right.

DOOM Heavy Assault rifle

The main thing about the update was the changes to multiplayer and Snapmap. Multiplayer was how DOOM should be. it was fast, matches didn’t last forever, nowhere is safe, players dying everywhere and demons at times get involved wrecking havoc and striking fear. Now the weapons actually have graphs to show the stats of each weapon and their weapon mod. For example we can now see that the heavy assault rifle has low damage, medium range and high rate of fire but when you use the Heavy assault rifles weapon mod the range is increased. This makes things easier and makes more sense. A problem that DOOM had in multiplayer was the fact that the weapon balancing. Some weapons are clearly out classed by others and therefore no reason to use them. The Heavy assault rifle was one for example and so no one pretty much used it. The balancing though has been improved and now the heavy assault rifle is actually useful as long as you get the headshots.

DOOM’s Multiplayer also got a new weapon which fits right into the roster. The grenade launcher straight up is a great weapon. X35 Earthwalker tried it himself in his first few matches and it brought him kills. The grenade launcher isn’t as strong as the rocket launcher but has that advantage of being capable of being shot around corners or to block of certain areas. The grenade launcher seems to do more damage in terms of area of effect than the rocket launcher though. The new weapon balancing has caused players to see different weapons being used like the plasma rifle and chain gun.

DOOM demons

Now there are some new demons in DOOM as well which is always exciting to see. The demons can only come when there is a demon rune and the first player to grab it gets to become a demon. It’s actually kind of scary as the type of demon can change everything. For example if a mancubus shows up then every wise player will exit the area and stay away. if a Revenant shows up then the best thing to do is deal as much damage as fast as possible because it is faster than you and will kill you first. Now the new ones are: Harvester, spectre and Cacodemon. The harvester fires a beam which damage anything it hits and that charges up detonation which once full you can release a large energy blast. The Spectre is basically an invisible pinky demon so just simply run around the map and destroy unsuspecting players at great speed. The cacodemon just flies around, crushing players with it’s huge jaws and firing a blast at enemies for longer range combat. These new ones are great additions to the demon crew. Off course they it room for more in DOOM.

Now Snapmap is exactly as you remember it except that there are more levels in there and more spotlight  maps which are maps that are normally designed very well. They have story lines it’s clear that pretty much everything was done intentionally and planned. So if you liked Snapmap then off course you will love it more now as it basically has more of everything. X35 Earthwalker himself believes that Snapmap is the best thing about DOOM. It is so worth playing as there is content for days.

Overall the update just brought good stuff to DOOM. The game has gotten better and it’s even more worth checking out if you haven’t already. We will be playing DOOM more often now. Now an update is always great to have but there’s one thing that doesn’t need an update and that’s… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Skyforge is a MMORPG developed by ‘Allods Team’. It’s coming out the 29th of November for Xbox One but already out on PC and PS4. Now when it comes to MMORPG, there is much that has to be taken into consideration. Has Skyforge done it right? Let’s take a look.

The story in Skyforge is actually kind of exciting. You play an immortal warrior who will walk the path to become a mighty god (as if being immortal isn’t enough). On your path you will gain followers (who know you aren’t a god but trying to become one by the way). You must fight to protect your world. The more followers you have  Now there is a special group called the ‘order of keepers’ who are known as the most powerful and best there is. They also get to shape the fate of the world. That sounds big and sounds like quite the journey. Now the more followers you have, the more powerful you become.

Now Skyforge has been inspired by some other top action- combat games. There is animated action not just wait around and click etc. So expect everything like combos, finish moves, movement and dodging. So not point and click basically. The combat gets deeper as you can switch between your classes with one click. So if some enemies require some ranged tactics then you can switch from a close range fighter to maybe an archer. What they did right though is that you can level up and improve all your classes at the same time. Like having exp share item in pokemon.

The world is always in danger here in Skyforge. The types of dangers range from other immortals, invaders and much more. So the mortals of the world need the players to protect them. Do so well and gain followers. You can also select what type of activity you want to take part in. For example there is: group, PvE, solo, PvP, raids and more. So there is at least some options.

There are 14 different classes each with their own powers and abilities and off course style. Some are the cryomancer, the berserker, the paladin, the gunner, the light binder, the witch, the kinetic,  and much more. The Gunners are awesome by the way. As for the players after becoming a god you become over powered but there is a higher level… the elder gods. Who take OP (over powered) to another meaning. So watch out for others gods who have a bad temper. There is lots to do in this game literally like divine forms, invasions, big raids, distortions, anomalies and much more.

We checked out some gameplay and everything looks smooth. It’s what you would expect of a MMORPG. you have your character and you are running around exploring the big world and you may see a giant spider and so you cut it up. Find quests, complete them, you know the drill. Nothing wrong with it so far but seeing it and playing are quite different.

Overall this looks like a great game so far. The graphics are very good, the sounds are good and the different locations and environments look like they are worth exploring. Only if we play the game can we get more information. The developers ‘Allods Team’ did a very good job with this game. Skyforge is worth checking out. now the gods are pretty strong but nothing is even half as strong… as the ‘Earth Walk!’.

Spelunky 2 will be here and that’s exciting. It has to be the most exciting thing, in terms of gaming, that we have heard all year. Literally we are more excited for Spelunky 2 than Destiny 2, Evil within 2, Emily wants to play too etc. Spelunky was an excellent game and certainly worth playing. It was difficult, exciting and had a lot for players to do and try out. Spelunky 2 will eventually be here. Let’s take a look.

Now from what know about Spelunky it is safe to assume that the play style will all be the same. The developer ‘Derek Yu’ made it clear that some new things will arrive and some old stuff will make a return. The new things will have to be items, enemies, mechanisms etc but the old things will probably have to be the stuff that were signature to Spelunky like the ghost that shows up when you run out of time.

The developer also revealed his influence for the story of Spelunky 2. He got married and had a daughter (congratulations by the way and continue to have a great marriage Derek Yu). This is what’s happening to mr Spelunky as in the trailer he has a beard which shows time has passed. The child receives mr Spelunky’s signature hat as if passing on the mantle to his daughter but he fades away. His daughter looks out the window in deep thought but diligent.

This all makes sense. Think about it. mr Spelunky gets out of the strange cave that he explored for treasure. If you completed Spelunky then you know that he found a lot of treasure, treasure which would easily gain him fame and a comfortable life. He can afford a house and to have a child. The child is easily amazed and super interested in her fathers adventures and judging from her clothes wants to do what he did or does. Maybe Mr spelunky went on one more adventure and hasn’t returned yet which is why he faded away. Does she go after him using the knowledge she learnt from her dad? A much deeper story here.

Now Derek Yu did say that he wants to keep what made Spelunky unique. Well that obviously has to be the whole cartoony feel of it all. Little characters with unbelievable upper body strength to carry three friends at once while climbing a rope for example. It was anything serious but casual fun. Casual fun but very challenging and you would see that if you watch the Northernlion plays Spelunky serious on Youtube. Another unique thing was off course the ghost the horrible moment of encountering the ghost for the first time, knowing you can’t stop it but it’s coming for you. Also what’s unique is the silly cartoony physics chain of events. For example you throw a pot at a powder keg to set it off. it blows up but the explosion throws a rock at you, which hit you in your head, which knocks you of the platform, which makes you fall unto spikes which results in your death. There are many wacky chain of events that people wouldn’t believe until they see it. Lastly that is definitely unique would be the tough shopkeepers who make you learn the hard way that you shoplifting is wrong. Also don’t try anything funny. Below is a video of X35 Earthwalker doing his first ever Spelunker run on the Xbox One:

Spelunky was considered by many to be almost perfect. Our suggestions for Spelunky 2 would be to make it bigger. After all, when you master Spelunky you can actually beat the game quite quickly and a bit easily. It becomes no where near the challenge it was. It needs more levels and maybe pathways like instead of heading to the jungle, you can go towards the dry land area or something like that, allowing more time spent and exploration. Maybe secret door ways that have various conditions for entry like number of enemy kills on that run. Make levels more chaotic as in more danger can show up at almost any time forcing players to be on their guard much more instead of casually causing through levels. We have more ideas.

Overall we at X35 Earthwalker are so excited for Spelunky 2 but disappointed that it will not be on Xbox One as that means we can’t play it until much later by the looks of it but we aren’t the developers and so it’s not our decision to make. As long as Spelunky 2 is released for many to enjoy that’s fine with us. Not much information has been released on Spelunky 2 and so we encourage everyone to be on the lookout for new information. Spelunky 2 is something you have to check out. Now we are excited for Spelunky 2 but nothing is more exciting than… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Final fantasy XV Comrades

Final Fantasy XV is getting their first multiplayer expansion called ‘Comrades” for Xbox One and PS4 the 31st of October. That’s right, you heard us. Fans of the Final Fantasy XV will be thrilled to hear this and we can confirm that it’s going to be excellent. It’s pretty much what you would expect it to be. Let’s take a look.

Basically, the story behind the Final Fantasy Multiplayer Expansion Comrades is that Noctis who is king at the time vanished into the light (whatever that means) and so darkness saw the opportunity and covered and overran the earth. So some brave comrades are here to fight and bring the light back to the kingdom of Lucis. The players are these comrades who are members of kingsglaive who have powers and abilities invoked from different lucian kings. Sounds interesting but quite simple.

So the big adventure of Final Fantasy XV with the exploration, fighting large and powerful monsters and bosses that many fans loved can now be experienced with friends. Off course it’s different though. Still a large world with tons of things to do like even get a chocobo suit which you can wear and run around, this is so far our favourite thing (the chocobo suit). So no A.I’s this time, just you and your hopefully equally intelligent friends. This also bring other factors into the equation. For example now that you can communicate and strategise with your allies more effectively now, wouldn’t the enemies be more powerful and difficult to balance out this new advantage of the players? Think about that. Strategy needs to be tight this time around.

We have checked out some Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer expansion Comrades gameplay and everything does look cool. The awesome graphics, the excellent sounds to the amazing visuals and large monsters. the animations are always good here. It’s going to be very chaotic with all the magic and abilities being thrown around so make sure to keep an eye on your character and what’s happening around you. Off course players get to customise their characters to how they see fit. The level of customisation is quite high. There will be a good number of options to select from for the: top, bottom, shoes, gloves, outfits and accessories with sections like ‘top’ having more options within like: face, hair, features, voice figure, attire, colour etc. When you think about it, there is quite a bit to choose from which is very good. Come on, who doesn’t like options?

Overall the Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Comrades is looking really excellent right now. The smoothness of the gameplay and action is top level. Zoom around and fight as you please to get the advantage. It has been confirmed that characters from the main game like Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto will be playable characters in future game updates. The developers ‘Sqaue Enix’ did an excellent job with Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Comrades. We at X35 Earthwalker will definitely be keep an eye out for this game. This expansion is worth checking out. It’s said that Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Comrades will be epic but it certainly ain’t half as epic… as the ‘Earth Walk!’

Immortal Cuphead

Cuphead is an awesome game. So many people and gamers have gotten into and taken on the challenge that is Cuphead. This game not only makes the 1930’s style work but makes it incredibly difficult as well. Some people have even gone as far to say that it is too hard and one person described it as the most difficult game they ever played.

Cuphead has many levels but all the levels actually aren’t that long at all. Truthfully they are short. For example boss fights are normally 2 mins long. Run and gun levels are also around that time, so when you think about it, you could beat the whole game in a matter of hours but there is a catch. The games difficulty have caused some gamers to spend nearly 30mins on some bosses, just trying to defeat them. If you look on youtube, you would see some gamers spend the whole video on pretty much one boss.

X35 Earthwalker didn’t have as much problem with the bosses as others had and is currently getting A+ on all the bosses in world one and two so far. Cuphead is hard though and that’s the truth. The first few bosses are literally just warm ups. Funny thing is that many people have died and struggled with those bosses. Don’t let this discourage you as it’s only a matter of time before you beat them. Just study them for a bit and see their patterns.

Parrying is like the golden rule of Cuphead. When you parry you not only prevent damage (in most cases) but get a card which allows you to use an EX attack straight away. So parrying protects you and allows you to get your super attack really fast. So make sure to master parrying if you want a better chance at beating bosses. Bosses like Grim Matchstick require you to think about positioning. There are some spots that will seriously reduce your chances of getting hit by attacks while giving you easy access to damaging the boss. So think about where you should be.

Cuphead also has many charms and types of weapons for players to try and use. We really do emphasis ‘try’ here. Chaser homes in on enemies but does below less damage than the Pea shooter. Roundabout does more damage than the Pea shooter and has better coverage but doesn’t have the range unless you shoot backwards which also does more damage. Charge does the most damage when charged up but has no rapid fire, so don’t waste your shots. The Lobber does more damage than all the others, except ‘charge’, it comes out in an arc and bounces along the ground with slow rate of fire. Find the weapon that suits you.

As for charms, the Smoke bomb makes your dash invincible. Heart and double heart gives you more hits before you die but weaken the power of your shots. Whetstone turns your first parry into a strong axe attack, making parry even more useful. Coffee makes your super meter fill continuously meaning more supers for you. Sugar makes your first parry automatic meaning all you have to do it just jump into something pink. Pretty cool.

The truth is, some charms and weapons are better for certain bosses and levels. For example the ‘Treetop Trouble’ has situations and enemies that are perfect for the Chaser and Roundabout shots. Smoke bomb also works wonders on this level allowing you to dash through enemies safely. Other levels like the boss Grim Matchstick we found that charge and roundabout shots are both excellent. So if a boss or level is giving you too much trouble then exit, change your load out and get back in there.

Cuphead for the best experience is best played co-op. This is because it’s about Cuphead and Mugman. Even the dialogue from characters always refer to both of them. It’s harder in co-op, this is because enemies take more damage and bosses have much more health meaning fights are drawn out longer and you can’t just shoot enemies out of your way as fast, relying more on evading enemies. The positive of co-op though is that you can keep reviving your team mate as much as you can reach them. So technically infinite tries. We suggest you try both. Below is a video of when X35 Earthwalker and Diamondz L45 played Cuphead for the very first time:

Overall Cuphead has so far been a great experience. It’s a lot of un and a big challenge for any gamer. Some times there are many things happening on the screen at once and so you must adapt quickly. Cuphead is for everyone to try and have fun but expect a lot of retries and fails. There is one thing that we can’t fail and that’s… the Earth Walk!’

JYDGE is a top down shooter game developed by ’10tons’. It’s coming out October 6th for Xbox One, will come on PC and Nintendo later this year but already out on PS4. This game is said to contain brutal justice. Let’s take a look.

In JYDGE players basically must build their own Jydge with which to handle and eliminate crime in the megacity called Edenbyrg. Now this isn’t any normal justice. This is violent, brutal justice. Get in there and gun down all the criminals and scum of the mega city. No handcuffs, not court, no innocent until proven guilty and no mercy. Use rocket launchers to blow stuff up, smash through walls or riot shields to protect yourself from harm. Just get in there.

You can modify your Jydge to suit your play style or the situation at hand. You can modify your gavel rifle deciding which parts have which effects and deciding which companion drones to join you on your mission. So are you going to have a stealthy Judge who can blend in with the environment using chameleon or will you just go all guns blazing. It’s up to the player.

Jydge his said to have over a billion different configurations concerning mods, companions, cybernetics and items. Now that’s a ridiculously large range of options. Let’s hope that’s the truth though. So many options to serve justice with like: rockets, electricity, fire lead, lasers and more. Don’t forget to collect medals and unlock new equipment to test your abilities, situation solving skills and get more options. Oh in case you haven’t guessed yet, the environments are very destructible.

Jydge does sort of reminds us of smash TV that old game which was a top down shooter with many ways to die. Best of all Judge has local co-op which means you can call in a squad of your own to help you demolish the place faster and solve any situation. The level of destruction will be crazy. We respect any game that has local co-op.

Overall this game seems quite cool. The graphics are good, the sounds are good too. The level designs are great though. The developers, ’10tons’ did well with this game. This game might be worth checking out. Justice is important but certainly not as important… as the ‘Earth Walk!’

We really like Destiny 2. It is a great game and if you read our last gaming blog post on Destiny 2, you will see why. So is it good? Yes off course; however out does have it’s issues. Let’s take a look.

Destiny 2 definitely has a better story but not by much. We mean there is a in game story this time but it wasn’t done very well. We get introduced to a cool new enemy called Ghaul but we don’t get to know much. Sure he explains that he started from the bottom as an outcast and is now a boss but that’s all really. We were hoping for more scenes of Ghaul. Maybe more of his presence and sightings of him in the game. We haven’t finished the story but we believe we are on the last mission though. As it stands right now. It’s just that the guardians get attacked by Ghaul and his army, then Ghaul never does anything, ever again. Which is lame when you think about it. Destiny 2 had opportunities to make many big things happen with this character.

The difficulty of this game is too low. X35 Earthwalker himself went for all the adventures and handled lots of side quests, not grinding or anything but just completing them. When he reached the adventures that recommend that players have at least a light level of 90, he was already well over that level. Matter of fact for some he was already over 200. All the enemies died so easily and nothing phased him. Sure he had low health and at some points but that’s when he dives into the centre of armies and is too busy pimp slapping everyone around. Otherwise it’s never a problem. They should have added difficulties to Destiny 2 giving the players the option as to how hard they want the game too be. As it stands, toooooo easy. Still fun though.

The Strikes need more variety. We feel like there is only 3 or 4 raids in the game. Maybe there’s more but we haven’t seen anymore. With all their money, team and technology we hoped that they would create lots of strikes that have a variety of locations with many different boss enemies. The amount of consumables you get , specifically the tokens on each of the different worlds is too little. Sure you get 3 for finding the region chests but that’s about it. Unless it is a region chest you will always get one. One for completing public events, one for opening chests around, one for beating high profile enemies. Just one. Eventually you will find all the region chests and so getting these items to unlock rewards takes longer than it should do. The worst is the crucible tokens. You only get one per match and Lord Shaxx requires many tokens to unlock the rewards, meaning the game wants you to spend lots of time in matches. Not everyone wants to do that.

The negative point about Destiny 2 that many players have grumbled and complained about is the shaders. More accurately it’s the fact that shaders are now one time use. This is really bad now that we have gotten further in the game. Shaders basically paints your armour pieces and weapons a certain colour design, giving some weird to awesome looking armour. Now there are four armour pieces: head, chest, boots and arms. Plus 1 or 2 more if you count your weapons. Now we used a certain shader on our gun and man does that gun look so amazing now. We wouldn’t sell it to anyone. We used one shader on our arms and that shader looks real cool. We want our whole armour to look like this but we only got 2 left but 3 more armour pieces. The shaders are one time use which is bad because in Destiny 2 most players are dismantling their armour for better gear almost every 10 mins. Destiny now wants us to buy shaders and stuff with real money, as if we didn’t spend enough to get the standard version of the game already.

Overall Destiny is still a good game but it’s just stuff like this which turns Destiny 2 from a excellent game to a great game. This off course isn’t everything but these stuff we point out, are very easy for the developers to correct and improve on but will they do it? So Destiny 2 is still a game worth playing but prepare to encounter some annoying stuff. There is one thing we know that is never annoying… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game developed by ‘studioMDHR Entertainment’. It’s coming out 29th of September for Xbox One and windows 10. This looks like a interesting little old game. Let’s take a look.

Straight away you can see that Cuphead is a olden time style game. Everything from the graphics to the music. Even the trailers like the announcement trailer has 1930’s written all over it. This instantly gives it a charm. Come on look at some of those hand drawn cel animation. This game is simple meaning anyone can pretty much give it a go. Would they do well? That’s a different story.

In Cuphead you play Cuphead but thankfully there is a two player co-op and the second player gets to be Mugman. How cute. The story basically is that both Cuphead at some point must have  made a deal with the devil. Which as we know never ends well. You have to be stupid to do that. Things go wrong and now they are trying to repay their debt to the devil. They will go through strange worlds with strange enemies and strange characters. Everything strange.

The game is said to be heavily focused on boss battles. So expect many bosses. We have seen some already like the cigar boss, a large flower, a bow and arrow wielding being on a cloud etc. There’s enough bosses for everyone. Cuphead has also been described as super hard. Don’t let this frighten you because many times we see people who’s job is gaming and yet they don’t do well in certain games at all. There are many enemies and it’s one of those where you have to pay attention because you could die in the next second.

The enemies are all so strange and cartoonish that you won’t see them as threatening but might creep some people out a bit. Now there are some interesting in game mechanics. We hope you like the colour pink because anything that’s pink in the game can be parried. Which will result in you not being harmed and getting a double jump which can be useful for like getting to secret areas probably.

We checked out some gameplay and it’s literally what we thought it would be. Funny but strange big bosses who some pretty much train you by forcing players to emphasise certain skills like dash while other bosses are incredibly difficult having danger come from pretty much everywhere. It seems like on of those games that anyone will just casually play and have fun and maybe get a bit frustrated.

Overall Cuphead seems like a great game. Fun and for everyone while challenging. The graphics and sounds are something that hopefully must people will just love. It’s that old style and it does it well. The music is also very good. The developers ‘studioMDHR Entertainment’ did a excellent job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to this game and to get into it. This game is worth checking out. Cuphead made a deal with the devil but what has absolutely nothing to do with the devil is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Lightfield is a new hyper futuristic racing game developed by ‘Lost in the garden’. It’s coming out the 26th of September for Xbox One and PS4. This game looks cool, sounds cool and we hear has an interesting twist to it. Let’s check it out.

Lightfield sure does look cool but the twist makes this something else. The twist is some parkour. So basically racing but with parkour. You will be zooming alone but will have to jump to circular pillars then jump of to an oval shaped platform and then back on the original track or wherever you desire to go as Lightfield has omnidirectional routes for players to go along at their choice. There’s more than one way to race here.

In light field you can go beyond the tracks boundaries and explore for yourself. Take in the sights, check out more of the level designs. Honestly experienced gamers can figure out what this game has to offer. high speed racing with the ability to go anywhere and parkour to make reflexes and paying attention essential skills to compete.

There are three game modes: Race, time trial and exploration. You can guess what each of these modes are about. There is an online multiplayer mode so go and take on the world. Honestly games like this need online multiplayer. There is also a leaderboard so go see who is currently leading. The electronic music was done by viennese musician Zanshin. Best of all though is the fact that it’s also 4 player local split screen mode. X35 Earthwalker himself respects games who have this.

We checked out some gameplay and everything is what we thought it would be. It’s high speed racing in a futuristic world with trailing lights. Jumping from place to place, racing up and down pillars, around corners and more. This looks real cool.

Overall this game seems excellent. The graphics are great for what it is. The sounds are just good we would say. The music though is something the developers seem very proud about. They should be as the music is very good indeed. Warning: the music may force gamers to dance a little. This game is worth checking out. Omnidirectional racing is great and all but what’s better… is the ‘Earth Walk!’
