X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate

Welcome to another X35 Earthwalker quick review. Lemnis Gate is an excellent game. We will say that right away. Lemnis Gate was developed by ‘Ratloop games’. This game is available on Xbox Series X (off course), PS5 and PC. X35 Earthwalker has played this game for a quite a bit and even did a livestream on it. Here’s what we think of Lemnis Gate so far. Take a look.

In case you don’t know what Lemnis Gate is, most likely because you don’t operate in the best gaming circles like we do, then read our first blog post on the game. Regardless we will break it down simply. It’s a first person shooter game but heavy on the tactical side. The main mode is turn based first person shooting. There’s a small map with objectives like collect the orbs and bring it back to your spawn. You move first and run out to get an orb and bring it back. Then your opponent on their turn will try to get an orb too. The one with the most wins. Except it’s way deeper than that.

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate

You play with the past, present and future. This game can get mind bending real fast. With Halo, you just need to know the map well and have good aim. that’s it. For Gears of War you need to wallbonce and aim well with the Gnasher shotgun. Those games are fun but straight forward. Lemnis Gate forces players to use far more of their brain. They tried something unique and made it work. So remember the example we gave earlier? Well on your opponents turn they will try to kill your operative who goes to grab the orb and instead take it for themselves, preventing you from getting it. You can’t go back to undo that, as it’s now in the past but you could instead use another operative to go in fast and kill the operative your opponent used to kill your first one. With the opponents one gone, your first one doesn’t die and continues to grab the orb and get back to the spawn to score. Do you get it now? Don’t worry, we know it’s easier to see than read to understand. We will put our gameplay video down below.

You get it now. That’s why Lemnis Gate certainly isn’t for everyone. It’s for higher IQ players due to how much thinking and problem identifying and solving it takes to be real good at this game. This doesn’t mean your average player can’t play. They can but they must know what they are getting themselves into. The typical learn as you play and face better opponents os real and applies here. some are going to play and loose for a while before really getting the hang of it which is okay. While others will do good almost straight away while only X35 Earthwalker himself is super intelligent and naturally talented that he dominates and wins already. Seriously though, X35 Earthwalker right now is undefeated. Now about getting good at the game, you can literally play against yourself for practice. Control both player one and two like how a real match would go. You can see if you can beat yourself and try things to see what actually works or not. Very smart move of the developers to allow you a training session against yourself. Use it players, and learn some tricks.

The game looks excellent. The levels are off a good variety in design from a jungle like area to a moon base like place to a waste land with funky rocks and more. We like the different operatives. Really like them. Let’s talk about them. There’s seven in total: Vendetta, Deathblow, Toxin, Rush, Karl, Kapitan and Striker. Each has their own Gun and special ability. Vendetta has a shotgun and her ability is to set up automatic turrets to fire at enemies in range. Deathblow has a rocket launcher and can set mines. Toxin fires toxic balls which hit and covers surfaces in damaging poison puddles, her ability is a teleport. Rush dual wields sub machine guns and can dash fast on both land and air. Karl has a continuous laser beam and can place defensive shields. Kapitan has a machine gun and can throw a grenade. Striker has a sniper rifle and can slow down time. We already have our favourites based on design alone.

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate

Let’s talk about the design of these characters. We really like the designs here. Deathblow sounds awesome. He sounds like a serious veteran bounty hunter or that one dude who you don’t want to mess with. Toxin is a woman but at first look she looks like a man thanks to her big hazmat like suit which makes her immune to toxics. Her voice is amazing. Loved it instantly. Kapitan looks like a hardened woman. someone who has gone through either rough training or moved into this no nonsense attitude. She won’t be playing Halo Infinite with the others. Karl reminds us of Pathfinder from Apex Legends. A high tech talking robot with some whitty puns. Makes sense for a robot. Rush stands out the most. This guy definitely has a mighty accent. Strong Caribbean accent which works well with him. Jamaicans are the fastest people (just ask the Olympics especially in 100m sprint) and yet Rush is the fastest character with an ability based on speed. He has jokes and super confident. Reminds us of a certain Jamaican friend we know. Cool dude, just like Rush. Striker has the least going on. A confident use with a mask who likes a clean kill. Nothing much stand out with him. Lastly Vendetta who might be our favourite. We like Vendetta’s design and her attitude She is an example of finally game developer are putting women in their games with different body types. It’s about time! Bless Unleashed did it and we praised them for it. So many female characters have the shape of Kapitan. Vendetta is heavier in her lower half while top talk was more standard. She stands out instantly and for good reason. We want more variety in character body designs. The Lemnis Gate cast is excellent.

Lemnis Gate gets real deep when it come to tactics. Think about it. When you know someone is sprinting straight for an objective like the orbs. You don’t even need to kill their operative, all you have to do is just grab the orb before they do and run with it. The best players always try to find the simplest way of handling a problem. For example, if you know an operative will get sniped by striker then all you have to do is place a shield on your operative with Karl. The shield will save their life. Just use the shield, you don’t need to always kill the enemy. Always be careful of events that take place in the past like flying rockets from Deathblow. Your next operative who runs out there might get struck by a random rocket and waste your turn. You also need to know which operative might be a good counter for the other. Advanced stuff. We might make a G-blog post on that one time. Advanced tricks and some tips. Just remember to focus and pay attention to what’s going on. Especially in the later rounds where you have 6 operatives running around doing their thing at the same time.

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate

Overall we can proudly say that Lemnis Gate is awesome. It’s very difficult as you have seen and read. Take a ton of thinking, especially to outplay and outsmart your opponent who is also clever. X35 Earthwalker has faced some experienced players already and still won every match. It’s on the Xbox GamePass so try it out for yourself. Now Lemnis Gate may operate in the past, present and future but that’s still many abilities below… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Hell Let Loose

Hell Let Loose is a World War 2 first person shooter multiplayer game developed by ‘Black Matter‘ and published by ‘Team17‘. Hell Let Loose is said to be coming out Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC on the 5th of October 2021. Hell Let Loose has to offer a lot to get our interest. There’s a lot of war games. Let’s take a look.

Hell Let Loose is suppose to be the World War 2 style. So expect old sandbags, expect old guns, expect old tanks, cheap helmets and stuff like that. Hell Let Loose is big 100 player battles. 50 vs 50. So these are big battles for sure. Players will be everywhere. Seems like Hell Let Loose wants to truly represent World War 2. They did say “You’ve never played World War 2 the way it was meant to be played”. So already gave themselves something to be measured by.

X35 Earthwalker Hell Let Loose

We know that Infantry, artillery and tanks are the main forces here in Hell Let Loose. These matter greatly. We also know that Hell Let Loose is also about strategic resource management too. This hasn’t been explained much but we can imagine that players will have limited resources to spend on tanks, types of troops and off course artillery. So there must be the ability to earn resources too or maybe it’s handed out in time. We have our own questions and need to learn some stuff before the interest can build.

We checked out some Hell Let Loose gameplay and it’s what we expected from a World War 2 multiplayer game. Old style, straight up fights gameplay. We like how the explosions look from bombing runs and artillery. Those look good. It seems like players die real fast in this game which would make sense. Like the old ghost recon game where you died from a bullet or two. Soldiers charging in, tanks on tank violence, using rocket launchers and covering fire. Just looks like another war game so far.

Overall Hell Let Loose just looks like another war game. There are multiple big war games with big battles like battle royal and big open battlefields. We definitely need to see more and get more information concerning Hell Let Loose. We want huge battles with tactical might. Tanks need be legit game changers and multiple troop types to handle different situations like vehicles. Will there be call in abilities? The developers ‘Black Matter’ have done an alright job so far. Now Hell Let Loose may have 50 vs 50 gameplay but those numbers aren’t enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Necromunda: Hired Gun

Necromunda: Hired Gun is a new fast paced first person shooter game developed by ‘Streum On studio‘ and published by ‘Focus Home Interactive‘. Necromunda: Hired Gun is said to be coming out the 1st of June 2021 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Necromunda: Hired Gun is suppose to be a smaller fast game for fans. Let’s take a look.

Necromunda: Hired Gun is all about this hired gun. That’s you the player by the way. You are in Necromunda. A crappy place full of nothing but crime and corruption. In this world you have to be merciless, which the hired gun is. Simple life really. You see the bounties, happy with the price and then go to get them. The hunt is on. Don’t feel bad as they are gangsters and mutants, some of which are notorious. Get to it.

X35 Earthwalker Necromunda: Hired Gun

One more thing we didn’t mention. There’s a dog. Your dog. You have a loyal cyber dog that helps you track down and kill these targets. The dog is active too, as it’s capable of killing your targets itself as well. You ain’t so ordinary yourself either. Thanks to customisable augments, your body is enhanced allowing you to do certain things like leaping over large gaps and even run on walls. you’ve got a grapple hook for extra mobility and traversal options. So this isn’t just a straight up shooter.

X35 Earthwalker Necromunda: Hired Gun

We checked out some Necromunda: Hired Gun gameplay and it’s what we expected. Keep agile, keep moving and gun them all down as you make your way to the target. There’s loads of special effects and even some electric based attacks. There’s multiple types of enemies too, even foes with mechanical parts suits and enhancements which make them very difficult to take down. Knowing which enemy to take down first and prioritise is quite important here. The level design is cool and definitely looks like a futuristic but bummy looking location. Definitely a den for scum and low lives. You see factory looking areas for mass productions. Parts and scrap around showing that the locals and guys here are in business for sure. Supplying their crime. So yeah… kill them.

Overall Necromunda: Hired Gun looks like a smaller scale action game. You just get out there and destroy your foes casually and quickly. Even the official trailer had a narrator which made light of the situation and enemies. So this isn’t anything serious but more focused on humour and fun. We will have to get more information about Necromunda: Hired Gun. The developers ‘Streum On studio’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have to see what goes on with this game. Necromunda: Hired Gun may have a loyal cyber-mastiff but that thing would run away from… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate gaming blog post

Lemnis Gate is a new turn-based combat strategy first person shooter game developed by ‘Ratloop games‘ and published by ‘Frontier Games‘. Lemnis Gate is said to be coming out in the third quarter of 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Lemnis Gate looked cool so we thought why not. Let’s take a look.

Lemnis game seems to be all about action. There’s no information concerning a story or anything. After all it is described by some as an arena shooter. So that’s the primary focus of the game. So it’s first person shooting, with heavy strategy, with different characters, multiple rounds all within a time loop. Yep, time loops.

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate G-blog

Let’s explain this for you guys how Lemnis Gate works. As mentioned before the match take place in time loops. It’s your turn. You have 25 seconds to do what you want. So either move your character to another location, set something up, prepare or attack someone. The other players get their turn to do the same. Once everyone is done, the next 25 second round begins. Now the actions and results of the first round can be seen and carried out. Then you take another action in response to what has already happened or for what will happen or dealing with the current state. The game describes this as “Each of the five rounds is your chance to alter the timeline as past, present, and future converge.”

What’s real cool is that Lemnis Gate isn’t strictly players only. You can literally control the whole team of five yourself. Each operative by yourself. It’s called an auto co-op feature. There are different operatives who are also called heroes. They have their own abilities. Some of these abilities are like the slowing of time to make landing your shots easier, another ability is laying traps like toxic waste and even defensive abilities like “protective orbs” which can be used to help out yourself in the future. Remember there’s more.

X35 Earthwalker Lemnis Gate G-blog

We checked out some Lemnis Gate gameplay and it’s not what we expected at all. We aren’t surprised though. They claim this is turn based strategy and first person shooter action. So how would that work? It didn’t work here. We even checked the trailer and everything seems to be moving at the same time and it looks like a first person shooter only. Sure there are multiple rounds and see the let’s call them ghosts or different dimensions of operatives even after death continuing their action but it doesn’t look like it works right now. We need to see more. We at X35 Earthwalker can easily make this work but let’s see if they can do it. We need to see more.

Overall Lemnis Gate does look good concerning the operative designs, the visuals, the idea and the effects. We noticed that the operatives have their own loadouts as well as ability. It does seem like Lemnis Gate will be more about planning, tactics and abilities instead of just raw shooting skill. Again we will need to see how that works out. The developers ‘Ratloop games’ have so far done a alright job. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what else goes on with Lemnis Gate. Now Lemnis Gate might have time loops but those loops have no effect on… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a new first person shooter action horror game developed by ‘Tango Gameworks‘ and published by ‘Bethesda‘. Ghostwire: Tokyo is said to be coming out in October 2021 on the PS5 and PC. Said to be coming out on Xbox Series X a bit later but that might change especially with the whole Bethesda being under Xbox now. Ghostwire: Tokyo definitely got our attention only recently. Let’s take a look.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is off course set in Tokyo (you dummy). You control a character who decides to remain behind in the city. What’s wrong with the city? Some mysterious major league disaster happened which resulted in 99% of the population to disappear without any heads up or explanation. There are clothes left behind though which prompts some theories but nothing concrete. You are here because a supernatural force, clearly evil shows up in the city. This could be responsible for what happened to the city. It’s the only lead you have. You aren’t here to talk though.

You are here to FIGHT! Remember? This force is evil. In Ghostwire: Tokyo you will be fighting numerous spirits, some are powerful but they al have their own supernatural powers. You must combat them with your own supernatural abilities or should we say “spectral” abilities. Also figure out what happened here concerning the disaster. Some Ghostwire: Tokyo mystery right here. Maybe this can be reversed? Strangely the evil spirits aren’t the only things here in the city. The ‘Visitors’ are here. A group, of what looks like losers to us, who wears Hannya masks. Another mysterious masked group huh.

In Ghostwire: Tokyo they aren’t just simple dumb mindless spirits though. They have variety and shouldn’t be taken as a joke (unless you are us… which you aren’t). We have three names so far: shiromuku, amewarashi and kuchisake. We’ve seen spirits that are humanoid and attack from the ground. Some fast and leap while other slowish like a zombie. Another looked like a flying pumpkin sack head which launched projectiles. We hope there is a bit more variety though for this type of action game. Ghostwire: Tokyo can easily benefit from having a big range of enemies to allow for a more strategic approach concerning their weaknesses and making more abilities more useful or even add more abilities.

We checked out some Ghostwire: Tokyo gameplay and it’s not exactly what we thought it was but it’s awesome. The graphics are excellent. Like go look up footage of the food in this game. Very detailed. The city looks very cool and dark. The effects and supernatural visual stuff happening is excellent and we like the smoothest of the combat and the creativity in the powers from fire blasts, to melt based attacks and the mobility. Ghostwire: Tokyo is looking quite special right now. It’s dark and horror but you get to fight back for real and that’s good.

Overall Ghostwire: Tokyo looks fantastic. We truly hope they expand and capitalise on the world they have here to bring out a bunch of new stuff that keeps things new, exciting and fresh. The developers ‘Tango Gameworks’ have done a fantastic job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to this game and will keep our eyes out for sure. Now Ghostwire: Tokyo may have the supernatural going on but it’s supernatural is only child’s play compared to the supernatural of… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Metal: Hellsinger is a new rhythm first person shooter game developed by ‘The Outsiders‘ and published by ‘Funcom‘. Metal: Hellsinger is said to be coming out in the year 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Some games have good music while others are all about the music. Kill to the beat. Let’s take a look.

Metal: Hellsinger keeps things simple when it comes to what the game is about. Players control what’s called the unknown who is part human and demon. This unknown is all about vengeance. So another angry character. You are in hell (rightfully so) and here blasting and fighting through hell and the many demons in your way. Destroy the demons and their leaders… all to the music.

The music mechanic is the best standing out point of Metal: Hellsinger. Do everything to the music. Metal music though. So expect things to be different and quite serious. We hope the music is actually good though. Not a fan of metal. The more in sync you are, the more damage you do to your enemies and the more intense the music gets. So listen to the music, get the rhythm and fire your weapons to the beat. Nice and simple. We don’t know how merciful the game is when it comes to the timing though.

The target of your revenge is referred to as the “red judge”. She is the main bad guy and you have to take her out. Now remember that you are fighting in hell apparently but there is a completely different design for it. Hell’s true name here is the infernal planes which is made up of thousands of hells. All bad. Each location is different have their own stuff going on and maybe own specific enemies. We like the different designs on hell. There’s a frozen world too so that’s cool. The developers must keep the variety going.

We checked out some Metal: Hellsinger gameplay and it’s not what we expected. It has a more DOOM feel. It’s about slaughtering all your enemies mercilessly. It is about revenge after all. Theres many weapons, enemies and  around in this game. We know that there are bosses and killing them will discourage the hordes. There’s a wide range of weapon too. They each have their own ‘ultimate ability’ which are game changers. We definitely would like to see more gameplay and information concerning the enemies in the future. There’s also executions where you finish of a wounded enemy with some style. It really is about the music as killing and attacking to the beat gives you the most damage bonus a and gets the music to be real crazy.

Overall Metal: Hellsinger looks like a good game. It does what it says on the box. You move around, blast demon, maybe dance but timing your shots and attacks. The graphics aren’t excellent but still great and need to be improved. The sounds are alright but this game is still in development. So we expect it to get better. So run, gun, dance a little and have fun. The developers ‘The Outsiders’ have done a great job with this game. Now Metal: Hellsinger may have weapons and revenge but those certainly do not move… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Mothergunship

Mothergunship is a new first person shooter bullet-hell developed by ‘Grip Digital‘. It will be coming out the 17th of July on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Mothergunship is serious about making a big mark in the gaming world. Lots of bullets and big problems. Let’s take a look.

Mothergunship has been described as a bullet hell so you know it’s going to be intense and something serious. Not only that it’s a bullet hell first person shooter which is crazy in itself. Players must face off against and defeat an robotic alien armada that has already conquered earth. To do this players must craft their own weapons, which have been described as over the top.

Mothergunship

The developers description says it has “one of the largest gun customisation options seen in video games”. This is a big claim indeed. The guns that gamers could craft have been described as monstrosities that no reasonable person could ever lift. So expect big weapons. Crafting in Mothergunship is actually very deep. You can make a bunch of things happen. Like even plasma, lasers, cannons, rockets, shotguns, machine guns and much more. We have even seen a multi barrel rocket launcher. It gets crazier than that.

Now Mothergunship should make some gamers get a Ultimate Doom feeling or even the latest DOOM. This is because it’s all about mobility, It’s all about movement. If a players stays still they will be dead guaranteed. With so many enemies, attacks and off course projectiles coming your way, you’ll have to keep track of the big enemies and loads of projectiles all at the same time. So keep moving, look for weak spots, dodge enemies, don’t get cornered, and slip through all bullets. Sounds simple right?

  1. Mothergunship

We believe that players will have a great time in building their weapons. The ideas are pretty much endless. Use connectors, barrels and caps to make any combination really. There are even these attachments by the look of it to add effects like increasing criticl chance. The ultimate goal is off course to fight your way towards the Mothergunship which is where things get real crazy. It’s all random generated levels too so don’t think you can plan for the next area. Just be ready for anything.

We checked out some Mothergunship gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be mostly. There are many enemies with some variety, many threats, lots of bullets etc. we honestly though it would be more chaotic but maybe that’s the case further in the game to the point where it could be described as unfair. We hope so.  The different weapons are very cool indeed. The bosses so far haven’t impressed us yet. We hope to see more of them to get a better understanding of them.

Overall Mothergunship is a very cool game indeed. The graphics look excellent and the sounds are very good. The bosses are definitely large and powerful but don’t seem as that much of a threat as of now. The variety in weapons is excellent. The developers ‘Grip Digital’ did a fantastic job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to Mothergunship. Now Mothergunship may have loads of different weapons to craft but no where near as much options in… the ‘Earth Walk!’
