Bendy: Lone Wolf is a action rougelike horror game developed and published by ‘Joey Drew Studios’. Bendy: Lone Wolf is said to be coming out the 15th of August 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. X35 Earthwalker likes to see something different being done with games. Bendy: Lone Wolf is trying to shake things up for sure. Let’s take a look.
Bendy: Lone Wolf is definitely different from Bendy and the ink machine usual style. It’s a different genre all together really. Players control Boris, everyone’s favourite. He has to get out there and go deep into the corridors of Joey Drew studios… and maybe beyond. What’s worse is that these corridors are randomly generated. So you know the replayability is there. Boris is searching for supplies and any horrible truths. Dark truths. Off course this won’t be easy.
That is why Boris must also find weapons. There are monsters here. The “cartoon creeps” are here and want to take Boris out and take him away. So don’t just swing on them, time your attacks. A game like this just has to have traps. It does. These traps off course are bad for you but you can use them against your enemies too. So get tactical with it. So make sure to dine those weapons, as things will only get harder and you will need something better.
That’s not all. The ‘ink demon’ is here. Would not be the same with it. This ink demon is apparently stalking Boris. It’s almost everywhere. With the dark puddle foes you can fight back and smash them but with the ink demon… you must hide. Run if you can but most definitely hide. Just listen for the inky heart beat. Once you Hear it, well, you know what to do. Boris: Lone Wolf makes it clear of his presence.
We checked out some Bendy: Lone Wolf gameplay and it’s what we expected. Those who like wanted a break from the first person action will be happy. Watch and control Boris from different angles. Rotate the camera for better visibility. Plan and make sure you know where you are going. Smack those foes, and smack them good and ard (hard). Don’t forget about the iconic bacon soup. Drink up and keep Boris full. This is definitely looking cool. A whole different adventure.
Overall Boris: Lone Wolf looks like a great game so far. We like first and foremost that it’s something completely different and it’s Boris. Who doesn’t like Boris? We just hope that the so called horror aspect of this is actually good. The game definitely doesn’t look scary. The ink demon hasn’t been scary since the first Bendy game. Hopefully;ly they can do better here. The graphics are very good for the Bendy style. The lighting is excellent and effective. Boris animations make sense for his character. The developers ‘Joey Drew Studios’ have done an excellent job so far by the looks of it. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out concerning this game. Now Boris: Lone Wolf may be about survival but it cannot survive… the ‘Earth Walk!’
