Warhammer Survivors is roguelite survivors game developed and published by ‘Auroch Digital‘. Warhammer Survivors is said to be coming out the 10th of November 2026 on the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS and PC. X35 Earthwalker can at times enjoy games like this. Warhammer Survivors looks like it’s going for the formula but different fans. Let’s take a look.
Now Warhammer Survivors is very simple to understand. If you know Vampire Survivors then you know Warhammer Survivors. The same formula but with some differences. There’s loads of battles to be had. Expect the same nonsense plot armour that space marines have once they take of their helmet or have a name.
Expect hordes of Warhammer enemies. Gloomspite Gitz, Tyranids, Skaven, Orks (of course), Blades of khorne and even the stinky Death Guard. These enemies and more are all more than happy to spam numbers and swarm you to death. In Warhammer Survivors there’s only war.
Warhammer Survivors is rumoured to have over 40 champions. 40 from Warhammer 40000 and Age of Sigmar. For example there are: Sharynn Azurwrath, trooper kozlowski, Ulgromthier, Knight-Commander Pask, Malum Caedo, Neave Blacktalon, The Legend of Catachan and much more. These of course have their own abilities, stats and signature weapons. Expect blowguns, lasguns, chainswords and gauntlets of ultramars.
Just like with Vampire Survivors, Warhammer Survivors is all about the improvements, growth and combo builds. Survive, find and pick up more weapons and equipment. Then there’s the upgrades that shakes things up or straight up improves what you got. Then off course there’s the combining weapons mechanic where you’ll end up with some crazy weapons or Warhammer destruction. So discover what the combinations are and end up with the most effective builds.
We checked out some Warhammer Survivors gameplay and it’s what we expected. Old school pixel like graphic style with hordes closing in and players constantly moving around the field and trying to survive. What’s real cool and unique is that there’s a team up like mechanic. Basically characters, items and weapons have keywords. So if a character acquires a weapon they can’t use, then a follower joins them and uses that weapon for them. Now that simple but cool. Get the squad out here.
Overall Warhammer Survivors is looking like an excellent game. Graphics are great and detailed. Animations are good and standard for the game type. Now if you are a fan of Warhammer then you will like this game. If you are a fan of Vampire Survivors then you will like this game. It’s a win win. Just another casual game that will get some players addicted. The developers ‘Auroch Digital’ have done a great job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye open for this game. Now Warhammer Survivors may have many characters but they even when working together are too weak for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
