Halo: Campaign Evolved. XBOX Greatness

Halo: Campaign Evolved is first person shooter action game developed by Halo Studios and published by XBOX Game Studios. Halo: Campaign Evolved is said to be coming out the 28th of July 2026 on the XBOX Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and Windows 10/11. X35 Earthwalker has conquered every Halo game in legendary difficulty. Halo: Campaign Evolved is looking bring Halo into the next level of game design. Let’s take a look.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is basically the Halo Combat Evolved game, the first Halo game, but a remake with additional levels. Let’s make this clear again. Halo: Campaign Evolved is not the next big Halo game. The real big one will come later. This is just an exceptional taster for what’s to come… not just with Halo but XBOX too. This is a big deal and you will see why. Those who liked the original Halo obviously will like this game.

Now since Halo: Campaign Evolved is a remake, players can expect the same of what was in Halo Combat Evolved but obviously better in every parameter. Sounds are better, animations are better, details are significantly greater, effects and particle effects are superior, environments look crazier than before but most impressive of all is the graphics. Halo: Campaign Evolved is easily the most impressive looking game so far for its type and style. The only contenders are other XBOX games like Forza Horizon 6 and Gears of War: E-Day. Amazing already.

The additional levels in Halo: Campaign Evolved add way more action to the game. We don’t do spoilers but we will say that one of the levels is something that you never did anything close to in the original game. The cutscenes and exactly how things went down has been adjusted or even changed. So this is familiar but a new experience for sure. We are liking the designs of the covenant, especially the elites but what’s most concerning off course is the flood. Those nightmares looking for fresh meat.

X35 Earthwalker has already explained this in podcast episodes but we will say this here as well quickly. Yes we totally understand why Halo: Campaign Evolved should not be on playstation. It will be the best game that playstation has available on their platform but this is a trap for playstation gamers. They get to experience the Xbox greatness of Halo: Campaign Evolved but can’t play the next biog Halo game because it will be an XBOX exclusive. They did this with Gears of War. playstation can play Gears of War: Reloaded but can’t play Gears of War: E-Day because it’s an Xbox exclusive. The remake/remaster game is the taster but the main meal is an exclusive. This makes sense. They want the big and new then buy an Xbox.

We checked out minimum Halo: Campaign Evolved gameplay and it’s what we expected. It’s Halo Combat Evolved but superior and bigger in every way. The best thing about Halo: Campaign Evolved is that off course it kept the split screen and co-op action. This is important and true to original Halo. Biggest concern is the sound of the sniper rifle. The original sniper rifle is the. best sounding sniper in all of Halo. Will they make it like that? We hope so. We just truly lobe how good the game look.s The highest level of Halo and it gets X35 Earthwalker and gamers more excited for the next big Halo game.

Overall Halo: Campaign Evolved is looking fantastic and easily one of the best games of the whole year. A excellent new Halo game. We hope that this game will also have some more surprises. Never reveal everything but leave lots for players to discover for themselves. The developers ‘Halo studios’ has done a fantastic job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to jumping on the game day one with Xbox, which is the best place to plays it, and having a grand time. Now Halo: Campaign Evolved may have gotten serious upgrades but it’s still not on the level of… the ‘Earth Walk!’
